What's your most memorable moment in Conan Exiles?

What’s one moment (or moments) in Conan Exiles that has (have) stuck with you? For me it’s killing my first dragon for the first time. It was the green dragon in the Unnamed City when it was located near the Obelisk before it got moved. I spent day and night (in game) fighting it. Two nights had passed and I was running out of food to heal myself.
Getting its head was the most rewarding achievement for me.

Learning I could hack up a fallen foe for food and hides. I was getting tired of stealing eggs. Lol. It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure this out (I was almost fully upgraded to steel).

It took me an hour to realize I had to press R2 (Xbox) to turn on the campfire. lol. I was looking up stuff on the internet why my campfire won’t work.
It took me a while to realize I had a radial menu too.

The most memorable moment in Conan is the day a clan mate and I were in an utter hurry to get to our adventures. Our base was situated on a cliff side. He jumped and slid down the facing as was the norm for us and I immediately followed. However, he stayed at the footing, perhaps thinking I would avoid the area he landed in. Normally I grab the wall to slide but this time I missed, landing on his head. A pop up on the screen: The Tower of the Elephant. Was the most hilarious moment of this game for me! Accidental discoveries with pals are just the best!

It was back during my days on official PvE. My friend and I wanted to do some exploration and we went for the first time in the city of Xel-Ha. Then we entered the palace of the Witch-Queen without knowing what it was or what would happened. We then entered the Witch-Queen room and saw the door closing behind us : We freaked out so damn hard ! We had iron stuff and we literally didn’t know what would happened. In our mind, it was a super hard boss and we were about to die. But the real problem was that when the first statue was animated, my friend crashed ! And I was for about 5 minutes, alone, running in circles, waiting for my friend to come back. That was super scary. And when he got back we murdered the sh.t out of everything :joy:

First checking out the game with friends and having lots of laughs over discord with some of the early access memories. Being able to swim while using the surrender emote. Watching one of their characters able to move around while still locked into his current emote. Struggling to find food and water while exploring and watching one of my friends just explode into pieces from dehydration. Just a lot of shenanigans.

One such moment was when I put together my first armor to keep warm in the frozen north and went up to explore. It got dark, so I set up camp. This fella walked up on me to share my campfire. He didn’t attack until I broke camp in the morning. I killed my HUD and got this screeny.

That is both frightening and beautiful all at once.

We were raiding a base, buddy died before he got a chamce to set a bedroll. The raid was just north of the mounds. i dont remeber why but he didnt have that obelisk and ran from the frostbite bridge obelisk. By the time he got back i had killed the gaurds and was setting bombs. I set a bomb and ran away. Within those seconds i see a naked man runnin. I hear" its about time i finally made it back to get my; BOOM" The bomb goes off right as he was runnin by and he goes flying and dies again. I was laughing for about 10 min straight. He has no lucks on raids.

I once fought off a 6 person raid by myself for all 6 hours of raid time. In the end they praised me and never came back.

For some reason, the thing that immediately comes to mind was on my third day of playing the game, I went up north on an expedition to find some coal and iron. After getting caught in a sandstorm at the Hand of the Maker and nearly dying, I made it back to my base on the river only to find that a fun Early Access bug had made trees and bushes sprout up through my foundations:

Honorable mention goes to when I upgraded my graphics card and could finally play on some decent settings:

It was so weird how different everything looked when there was actual grass.

my most memorable moment was just the second day after the release of north expansion; where i leaded two friends to an expedition to the north. departure from set city; heading to the north, discovering the path on the north left cliff moutain leading to the frozen temple. Discovering avalanche monster who were news and the only source of black ice at that time, discovering the frozen temple; the blue giant and the forge ! it was 30mn travel to go there (no obelix at this time).

We were the first to get black ice sword and pick on our server, this day was my most memorable moment, full of adventure and discovery; close to die so many time from thirst, hunger, cold; but successfull to get back to home with new weapons and tools.

It was the realization that I had become everything I hated.

I did not want to attack people (not even NPCs) - but their constant harassment demanded I take action.

And then I learned I could enslave people - this would be my moral option! Instead of killing the local Darfari, I could tame them - civilize them. Yet somehow, no amount of enslaving would stem the tide - soon there were always more Darfari causing problems, earning themselves a spot on the wheel.

And then I learned religion - from the Yog Priest - and with bigger clans on the map, I had to protect myself! And if I was forced to kill anyone, might as well not let the meat spoil…

Literally 1 week in.

On day 1, I established a small sandstone shelter on a cliff and my friend logged off inside. I wanted to build a small farm and safeguard him until he returned. There were some pleasant drums nearby.

On day 7, he logged back on and found I dressed like a Darfari - surrounded myself with them - I had a hidden Yog shrine and an alchemy chamber full of blood, bone and other ingredients. He looked at the Preservation Boxes and found stacks of human flesh - and then joked he might need to “put me down”.

…and then I realized I had “gone native”.

From a pacifist-approach PVE player to full cannibal/slaver in 1 week. This game is amazing.

Back in Beta days, when hammer was the only PvP weapon and climbing wasn’t even a thing we found an enemy foundation claim near our base and couldn’t reach it. So we ended up constructing 2 “player towers” - 3 and 4 man high - we even invited some folks from the other servers to aid us  Our climber then managed to “climb” them, jumped down on the enemy foundation and successfully destroyed it
