What was the most significant experience for you in Conan Exiles?
I’ll post mine in the comments.

The time when I killed the white tiger and kinscorge without anyone’s help, just me, my steel. When a rhino threw my ex-girlfriend off a cliff. when believes in a civilization so advanced that to this day no one could believe her. when played with my friends. I didn’t know Conan existed until he was shown to me and I liked it.
Any kills with bombs in PvP. Idk, so satisfying.

For me it was multi-godding the massive base of a toxic clan that tried to strong arm my friends and I into submission with threats of power.
They’d been alpha for a long time and were well established.
We planned and executed the raid with near precision. We timed the gods between us separately within 5 mins of each other and finished off with bombs with only 4 layers left until main production.
Imagine a legacy base with fence and ceiling stacks.
We filled 15 vaults worth of their loot despite despawning close to another 6.
They fought hard. GG
When I finally decided to quit my encumbrance build and go all-in on strength, then wrecked the witch queen solo (no thralls, didn’t know much about them at the time)… then proceeded to kill other dungeon bosses for my trophies. And yeah, it’s because everyone I was playing with stopped playing.
This game years ago created a passion. In other on line games making friends was very easy, but in this game it was extremely hard! It took me years to find players of my region!
My very first friend was Victor from Serbia, he was a Nato soldier. He loved pvp a lot which i didn’t so soon enough our roads would be split.
However i was participating mostly in pvp servers, people there needed more my farming abilities, than pve servers . Every maximum 5 days i would log in to desert and let’s do it again from the beginning. My houses was easy to raid and help someone to enjoy this pvp aspect of the game with safety!
But in one server the unexpected happened. All the clan leaders asked from the admins to place a rule on the starting message…
Bella, Farm & Build must not be raided! Anyone who raids this clan will instantly be banned!
Bella helps the ones in need.
So in this server every day i was accepting requests for legendary weapons and rare items of the game from several players. In times i had requests even for some K stones .
I was always happy to provide and help, it was giving me reasons to play every day the game i was so in love with.
My only exchange was… Please follow me once in each dungeon you wish without thralls. The loot is all yours, i just wanted this excitement. In a time that God thralls was doing all the job, this experience was unbelievable. And the pvp players who hated pve, after this experience was sending me photos of a solo world boss fight, proud and happy!
This private server made the “cycle” (6 months 24, 7 pvp) and after 2 months of silence they decided to close the server. They kept the name of the server on their clan and Ofcurce i was invited to this clan… La Legion! With them now i played pvp too, defensive only, but again, i wasn’t stealing loot and almost nobody was looting my body. Almost every opponent knew me and the opposite, i was attacking to none on the street, but from times to times i was leaving gifts especially to newcomers. My team mates knew this about me and they were ok with it.
These players and the pvp aspect of the game gave me strong and memorable moments, things i never lived and probably never enjoy in pve servers. Not that i didn’t had beautiful moments in pve servers, that would be ungrateful from my side, but nothing can compare these days, nothing!
Thank you Kiki for this wonderful topic.
Learning the history and stories of the exiled lands through tablets and notes was honestly the coolest thing for me. Even now I come across things I’ve never seen before.
when we went to Klael as rookies a long time ago and the champion wiped out our entire clan
My most memorable moment?? That is a hard one because when the game was brand new there was a lot of them, including some very weird bugs and lots of them
Anyways, first time playing the game and coming from the desert spawn I saw the noob river in all its glory, that is something I still remember, it was so great to see that beautiful place for the first time
However I remember playing on pvp server when they added the Frozen North in late summer 2017 during ea, we forgot all about pvp and formed a large party of different players going on an adventure through it, we had a blast, dying a lot of times, but luckily we had all brought bed spawns with us, it was a one time event where most of the server united in something instead of pvp’ing
I’m living vicariously through you all Thanks for sharing!
Another for me was finding Klael in Unnamed for the first time. I was awestruck and kept saying to my husband “I FOUND AN ALIEN!”.
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend”.
Some time ago while I was on Siptah, I headed toward Bastard’s Stand.
While approaching from the Northeast, I encountered a wolf who of course was hostile toward me.
But this time instead of killing this wolf I used my shield and blocked its attack a few times, then suddenly decided to make a run through Bastard’s Stand thinking maybe they would be distracted by that wolf while I worked through them.
But to my surprise the wolf and I were within feet of each other when it just finished killing one of the enemies. It stood there briefly, growling as if contemplating who to attack next, but instead of attacking me this wolf took off toward more of the enemy there who were many yards away as if in some way it was telling me, “Let’s go, let’s do this”. So, not wanting to let this opportunity go to waste, I suddenly decided to go help that wolf.
Together, we must have wiped out over half of that place when misfortune struck.
During a fight in which both of us were fighting the same enemy, a miscalculated swing of my sword ended my unexpected ally’s life.
There was suddenly silence since no more enemies were nearby. In disbelief of what just happened, I stood there looking down and for a moment silently mourned over the sudden loss of my unexpected friend.
I couldn’t just leave the corpse of this honorable wolf there, so I took its pelt back home with me.
There, I made a bed with its pelt to keep it close to me.
Building man towers to raid people back when there were no climbing
Being a noob at noob river, trying to figure the game out. First thing my friend did was attacking the owner of one of the theme parks on the first server we started on, he killed us both, we had to respawn in the desert again, we hadn’t figured the bedrolls out
Quitting officials was the second best thing after not being able to play for 3 days due to constant freezes. We couldn’t kill anything, we couldn’t harvest but we could explore the whole map since everything was non-responsive. The game became so much more enjoyable.
No more being harassed by an established player on the official server looking to dupe a sword of crom (I had one pre-nerf). No more petty drama and people trying to wall you in or block content just because they can.
Another highlight was exploring Isle of Siptah in closed beta for the first time and figuring its mechanics out. Rushing to build a shelter not knowing that the storm will only hit in the middle. Realising storm does not only hit in the middle as it was supposed to. Funcom please
Meeting some great people along the way, living with one of them today. Both of us walking through a forest in Thailand, looking for the perfect spot near a river to build our base🤭
Conan Exiles has been so much more than a game for me despite its flaws. Definitely a rare gem on market, one which I wouldn’t have found if it wasn’t for my friend introducing me to it.
This, not only in game but in this forum too, you are so right @Narelle, so damn right!
Beautiful, i am so happy for you both of you!
I believe this paragraph represents all of us here in this post, thank you (always) @Narelle
