My favorite parts are them getting lucky enough to land a tempersmith right off noob river (and proceeding to kill said blacksmith because they don’t know any better) and the greater hyena they lead into their base.
Attacking with his hatchet… love it.
Those are moments we sadly never can get back
I remember the first time I set my foot in the Exiled Lands way back in beginning of early access, there were no guides, no climbing, lots of bugs and weird glitches(especially sudden heatstroke in desert area), we were all beginners in this forsaken but beautiful world… Damn I wish I could get that experience just once more in Conan Exiles, All that said games like this is best when you go in blind without using any online hints, the fun and foolish things you do… Well, looking back it was a lot of fun being a complete noob XD
Good video indeed, thanks @erjoh
That was Great.
Too true. But the game is still rich with variations that still need to be thought of, tested and vetted into viable new plans. That is why I love this game…I’m still learning new things…new spots to build…new designs for both PVP and PVE…new combinations that no one is thinking of yet.
This is why I try to advise new players to enjoy being new, rather than rushing to endgame.
These kinds of things are something you’ll experience only once.
Also, they did a good job with that hyena. The corrupted one is brutal.
… I just want my personal kind of space in the base!
I’M hanging on the roof like SPIDERMAN!
Reminds me of something that happened to one of my friends recently.
He decided to jump into the pit of Yog for some reason just to see if the fire hurts and needless to say he died.
He died 3 more times trying to jump in and get his stuff back before deciding it was impossible and giving up.
Similar thing happened to me!
Luckily after the 2-3rd failed attempt, I found out that the pit was decayed so was able to demolish it. Got my stuff back!
And that corrupted demon hyena killed me so many times in the early days. Back when I ran from any hyenas just in case he was nearby waiting to pounce!
Is just me or this is ultra cringe? He does that weird cuts and inserts and tryhard to be funny - you can’t force humor unless your target audience is 12~ year old kids.
Oh it’s played up and their fighting technique in the beginning isn’t one of a brand spanking noob…it’s mostly show but still dang funny if you suspend belief just a pinch.
This is the first time I’ve watched a video of someone playing a game and actually laughed out loud
Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t laughing at them, I was laughing with them. “AAAH IT WENT THROUGH THE DOOR!!!” “I’m on the roof, bro, like Spider-Man right now.” That’s some funny stuff right there
Anyway, thanks for the video. The next time someone starts complaining about “level 10 getting all the goods from the witch hunters” or anything else like that, I’ll send this to them
Ran into a corrupted crocodile yesterday that I thought was just a one Skull boss yesterday third trip back saved my stuff and follower new play through on official have to pay more attention I guess.
Oh the memories. As a fan of Conan and Cthulhu Mythos, I fell in love with Conan Exiles the moment I started playing (badly).
I built my first base in the aggro zone of a crocodile and it kept aggroing me every time I got close to my blacksmith bench. Of course sometimes it spawned as a corrupted crocodile that regularly kept killing me and locking me out of my own base, lol.
For some reason I decided to ignore the whole thrall thing, thinking it’s not that important and as a result my playthroughs looked like Dark Souls, especially that I couldn’t figure how to make a heavy armor and when I did, killing enough elephants to get the mats was like an entire boss battle.
