4th named thrall to die in the volcano because of graphic glitches and random teleportation from my thrall to me. about damn time this one got fixed
as in teleporting to me on a structure and going in the lava. that was thrall number 1.
as in “following me” in the mountains while bringing back 2 hours of gathering home and thrall teleported in the lava while “following me”. that was thrall number 2 and 3
they die on monsters i wont care happens, they die because of an issue related to graphic and structure thats another story.
i lost one helping a friend on another server… thrall was carrying the meteor shower, 1200 hardened bricks, a butt load of black ice and a named dancer plus EF dlc aqui agi
Yeah this isn’t a graphics issue. When your thrall gets too far behind you, or you jump down a cliff, it needs to “catch up” to you. The game does this by teleporting it to you, and it sounds like you have had bad luck with the thrall then touching lava.
Thralls aint invincible, so my advice is like the one above, don’t take them on follow mode into the volcano.
So hire a player to be my beast of burden?

If you run a straight line and stop until your thrall catches up, then move again, generally unless your crossing broken ground near lava your thrall should be okay. You cant just zip around the volcano like you do everywhere else and expect your thrall not to lag then teleport to you thru the lava. I love how people say, " I had 50 gazzilion starmetal bars on my thrall and it died in the lava"…Yea you did…

When you exploit, your just cheating yourself. If you think you need to do it to keep pace with other cheaters, than thats a self-esteem issue. people that cheat in games most likely also try to cheat in RL, and eventually get caught, then whine about it being.,“no fair”. Whataboutism is the lowest form of excuse for acting like a 2 year old. Think about it.

I dunno, the lava areas are pretty evil, one time I brought along an expendable pet to go mining with, and somehow ended up dead from lava exposure even though I appeared to be on solid ground. I wasn’t paying close attention to my survival bars, it’s possible I actually died of heatstroke or something, but when I respawned it said “You were killed by lava.” I managed to run back to my corpse and retrieve my stuff (which I wouldn’t think would be possible if my body were actually in lava,) and got my pet to re-follow me as I ran to GTFO toward a maproom, bc screw invisible lava. When I got back to base I realized my freakin pet didn’t survive the trip back, after all of that.
