How long until Xbox gets their final update it’s better both since it supposedly was released for certification
It’s been almost 5 months since the last update for Xbox while other systems have had 2 updates in that time. We were told at the beginning of November that they are working to get an update out “ASAP” and then pathetically 3 months later that it is still in certification.
The lack of action and sheer silence from Funcom lead me to regrettably believe that at least the Xbox version has been abandoned and the broken state the game is in is how it will remain.
Sadly Xbox users have purchased a game that they cannot finish! Im thinking if you purchased with a credit card, you may be able to ask your CC for a full refund as selling a defective unusable item is in violation of their sales agreement. Maybe loosing money will wake up the devs.
Honestly all I want is to be able to play the game I paid for! OFFICIAL Xbox users cannot complete the questline unless Settlement is up and running. QUEST for placeing workers in their stations… CANNOT BE DONE.
At this point Funcom has proven they can never fulfill their oaths to any of the gaming communities. CE being in maintenance mode proves they dropped the ball and defrauded the community over the years. Interpol needs to investigate again.
Sure, that works if you just bought it, in fact, you don’t even need to do that as most gaming storefronts have a very reasonable refund policy. Like less than 2 hours played and within the first week or so of purchase.
Doesn’t quite compute if you casually enjoyed the thing for 5 years and now you suddenly want your 20 bucks back
This convo will eventually swing between claims that it’s more Microsoft’s fault than Funcom, and diffusion of responsibility will shoo everyone away from really picking this apart. Would be great to have some numbers. Does anyone know what the average clearance time is for hotfixes on the Microsoft side across all games? I’m not asking about the myriad of factors that play into this. That’s the next question. Just a number would be great to start with.
Yes, Microsoft loves to drag their feet when improving certain things for fun con don’t understand it
