Or better yet update the bomb id with the dung id lol.

Sorry my answer was pretty vague. After they updated the token id, making gods active again, any gods that were in freezers OR bodyvaults were unusable for sometime due to id change. But any players that still kept them and just so happened to check their fridge or body vault one day would have seen those god tokens active again… instead if a dung id you now had "True Name Of … "

I keep a bunch of premade bombs in boxes in preparation for getting godded when I have my pants down (IE no bubble)
I also use those bombs periodically to make the BIG BOOMS for Trebuchets and store those in boxes as well. If Funcom wipes out the bombs, I’d honestly be OK with that because my storehouse of dragonpowder would still be safe. HOWEVER communication needs to occur and Funcom needs to let the players know that the bombs are deleted.
In Order:
1- Fix the duping exploit
2- Delete all Bombs and Demonfire Barrages from all inventories on all officials
3- Message of the Day: “In response to a certain exploit, all bombs have been deleted from all servers to maintain fairness. Thanks for your understanding, exiles!”
4- ???
5- Profit

Flip 1 and 3. stop the bleeding regardless of affects on PVP right now. Mature folks will understand, immature folks? Who the F cares, they are like 85% probable in doing the issue at hand.

Dunno where you are playing. Maybe you don’t think people are using it as players have so many bombs they don’t even leave a single foundation as evidence. 
I know alot of people who have been foundation wiped and them, and others, have stopped playing as you are effectively in sandstone if your attacker has infinite bombs. Also, raiding time is less significant if you can just spam bombs endlessly, the time only matters when you are trying to be surgical with your bomb placement because you have a limited amount and/or are trying to be efficient. Hellfire is very popular right now!
I’ve been aware of the dupe for a month or so and i doubt I was anywhere close to being one of the first. If they have patched it with the patch today, they will still need to decay bombs and also, as others have said, they’ll need to sort this body vault BS meta due to this dupe bug but also cos it’s just stupid.

Apparently whatever fix it was, it didn’t fix the bomb dupe. But at least it apparently broke server transfers. Cue circus music.
So the dupe is not fixed? 
…according to comments on their twitter post. Can’t confirm.
My guess is it’s a very low percentage of people that went thru all the effort of filling alts up with pre made bombs. Also even if that’s the case they are then stuck on that one server… unless obviously they use the other exploit of moving full inventory’s but that’s a separate exploit
But they can use other accounts to shuttle these to other servers.

Juke nuke all current bomb inventories off of official servers. As I said before, mature players will understand, immature players…who cares what they think. They are at the kids table anyways.

Well, my guess (just as anecdotal) is when players on pvp heard about the bomb dupe a lot fell into two camps.
Either they immediately started duping and hoarding (and maybe then body vaulted alts filled with bombs). Or, like myself and my clan, immediately stopped playing because I refuse to cheat and I’m not wasting my time in a game when all my efforts can’t match the output of a cheater who can easily wipe me using an exploit.
There is the rarer third group who duped and hoarded and then immediately set to making the world burn.
I don’t know where you play, so not saying your are wrong, but on the official pvp servers I’ve seen it’s certainly been hugely impactful on peoples willingness to play, people’s willingness to cheat because “everyone else is” and lots of people have been foundation wiped overnight.

Exactly my thoughts… I was late to the party and became aware of the exploit a couple of days ago. I was playing for my first time in Siptah on an apparently relatively peaceful PvP server. All of a sudden, a couple of days later a big clan just arrived to the server and started nuking the sheet out of everybody non-stop.
It was then when people on the server told us about the exploit and confirmed us that this new clan was using it. Everybody on the server, including us (about 5 clans in total) quit playing the game because of this.

My clan continues to play as we were, but now with the knowledge that if someone gets the eyes on the prize of our thighs that we’d better be online to defend or we’re screwed
