I started playing Conan Exiles as soon as it came to Xbox series x. I haven’t seen any Himelian, Pict, Khitan, Yamatai, or Vendhyan NPCs. I would just like to see more types of NPCs running around. I have also seen the religions topic in other threads. So, I will bring it up again. Can we please get more religions like Cthulhu, Nergal, and many more. Religion could be a huge aspect of CE, if dove into a little further.

I think an Age for religion is probably pretty likely. Maybe the next Age, maybe not for a couple Ages, but probably inevitable.
Not sure why the humans never spawn as many of the other races in the game. I am not super familiar with the devkit, but from what I’ve seen, I think it would be super easy to implement, like just select a different race off a list for the selected NPC.

Perhaps those races aren’t in the game because theyre in reserve for possible content. Who knows.

in theory, it really is as simple as it sounds. the problems are in the details. currently there are simply no assets for many of the possible factions. an npc that you give the faction “pict” that looks like all other npcs is not that exciting. so you also need assets that match the faction in order to differentiate it from the other factions. from there it gets more complicated and more expensive
In case of my example this is definitely correct. “pict” is available as DLC, but only for the player and his thralls (as weapon/armor sets and decorations) and not as a npc faction

Perhaps those races aren’t in the game because they’ve already been eaten by Darfari cannibals.

by the way, some dlcs actually have faction specific spawn data. however, these have never been used. probably because you don’t want to dress npcs in dlc armor, which you then get as loot in the end, regardless of whether you own the dlc or not.

Interestingly, I was in the devkit this weekend and came across Vendyan jaguars with cute little gold helmets…
