Where is the legendary shield Solspeil

I have opened at least 200 legendary chests since the May 7 update. I believe I have multples of every legendary shield with the exception of the Solspeil shield. Does anyone know of a location where the shield has a better chance of showing up? The Croc Bosses used to be my goto.

The chests are the same. The loot is RNG.

Seems like a string of bad luck. I’ve gotten three so far in my search for Lovetap. Some other legendaries I have upwards of 4, yet not a single Lovetap.

I’m in that boat. I have zero luck getting the love tap. The one I do have is from a friend on the server.

And I have so many lovetaps that I can sell them. Life is unfair :smile:.

I have found 3 “Lovetap” drops from the Rhino @ the Mitra Shrine. For the Reaver Axe, my best chance is the Scorpion King by the Warmaker’s Dungeon (11 of 15 get an axe, 6 of 11, get the Reaver Axe). The Croc just East of the Den prodominately yields a 2 handed sword. Though this game does use RNG, it would appear that chests are tied to other variables such as an axe or sword. @Jimbo1 do you recall where you found your shields?

I live in fear knowing this account exists. All three of my shields have come from different bosses honestly, I run circuits around the desert hitting about 7 different bosses in a lap

Sorry about that. I usually run a lap too, targetting about 20 Bosses per run. I was hoping that there was a chest tied to shields. Oh well, I’ll stick to the grind. Thanks anyway.

I got my last Solspeil during the first weeks in Corona lockdown… I dont know if I got one after latest patch, but I did not do that many worldbosses since then…

I have EVERY chest legendary in the game >10 times… I think I have 20 Lovetaps :smiley: Solspeil ~10times…
I am running out of places to build chests to store the legendaries :rofl: :sweat_smile:

All my thralls are running around with legendary weapons :smiley: You have many bows with +5 ACC, which is nice :slight_smile:

PS.: Use godbreaker armor until you get the shield. Has best heat/cold protection… The whole armor is out of the place, compared to any other in the game. And since +armor attribute got removed, the chest-piece is kinda bad.

PPS.: Made a thread, asking about the missing +ARMOR attribute: So what is with all items which had +ARMOR attribute?

I found a Soc at a decayed base :smiley: I just put it to my other 6 SoC, which I never used :smiley:

But this is also a good example of RNG in this game. I want another “Festering one” 1h-axe, so If i lose mine I have a spare one…
Yet I get many more SoC, which I dont even use…

Thanks everyone, got Solspeil yesterday from the Reptilian Monstrosity East of Silkwood.

The Godbreaker Armor is way too heavy for the way I play. I run around with 2 sets of armor (Silent Legion and Pride of Aesir).

I think I could fill 2 to 3 Safes with all the Legendary gear that I have picked up, I have got maybe 600-1000 Starmetal bars from dismantling unwanted gear. :slight_smile:
