This is a an interesting one. There was no update, so nothing changed about the game. Something happened directly with the settings themselves. Someone either changed them, or something bugged out in how the configuration is stored (Gportal)

For what it’s worth, we do not believe this issue is related. Gportal says they’ve fixed the affected servers’ config files and they should go back to their correct settings on the next restart.

Any chance you can encourage them to go ahead and schedule immediate server restarts so that the impact can be remediated sooner rather than later?

So they’re going to fix this with the server restart? Why can’t I find any info about this anywhere else but this thread. I geared up for a big raid on an official pvp server I’ve been playing on for many years, maybe 5 years. But my bombs did not damage. The server is now PVE. I feel sick. Why are they doing this? Isn’t it bad enough with all the other problems without this too?
Server 1210 EU pvp its still switched off i did zendesk reports , i waited for restart still nothing .
common guys do something or change g portal to someone who does care .
Relax, think of the bright side. It’s a unique opportunity that literally never happens… 
PvP players can finally have a nice holiday get-together on the server, without anyone being murdered, or focus on the PvE portion of the game (which they also need) and have a calm day for a change.
My point is, it’s not the be all and end all issue requiring you to tag both the Community group (of which Andy is a part of as you can see if you click the tag in your own post) AND Andy separately

So the servers are pvp again after reset, but you still keep your inventory upon dying. Please fix this

@AndyB The pvp servers are back but we still respawn with our loot on our body , they didnt fix this ?? please this have to be fixed before tonight…
Well, at least we can blow up stuff now. Hopefully we can spawn naked again soon. One thing at a time guys.
