Why is friendly damage missing?

Since yesterday, I suddenly lost friendly damage to followers in single player.
I didn’t change any settings. PVP is enabled in the settings. But when following, friendly damage is no longer dealt, despite the fact that the followers themselves react to the blows they receive.
Who knows what the problem might be?

Friendly fire is a setting that can be adjusted in the ‘settings.’ I believe it is turned down to 0.1 by default. Mess with the settings, I think it’s in the server settings, IIRC.

I specifically stated above that it is allowed in the settings. And always has been. But since yesterday he has disappeared.

Maybe someone else noticed the same thing?
What could have happened yesterday or the other day?

Just triple checked, and as “I specifically stated above,” it is in the server settings with the default set to 0.1

Are these thralls that are following, or guarding?

If they’re guarding and not following, they will be immune to player damage under the same conditions as buildings are. So if there is a building damage off time, or the setting is off entirely under Can Damage Player Owned Buildings.

As for followers being immune, I think this might be affected by PVP settings. Its been a bit since I’ve troubleshooted this one. But there is a way to make it so thralls don’t take damage from your attacks here.

That are following.

I need friendly damage to be like it always has been. I need it to level followers.
But it disappeared.
I want him back.

If this whole line of questioning was simply because you want to feed your thrall while leveling, just force feed them a single piece of rotten meat while they have leveling food in their inventory. They will take a couple pts of poison damage and automatically eat a piece of the leveling food in their inventory to heal.

@DaVice It’s witty, but long. Hitting with a pick is much easier.
I don’t understand why the setting always worked, but hasn’t worked since yesterday.
I would be grateful to everyone who checks the presence of this effect in their single-player game.

So, what you’re saying is that even though the setting is there for friendly fire, and you have it turned all the way up, your thralls are still not taking damage?

…I have just now tested and it worked for me. I turned the friendly fire all the way up to 10 and enabled PvP and player building damage, then restarted game. Every punch damaged my following thrall and she immediately healed again after auto-eating gruel.

…Are you using mods? Maybe mods have changed things for you?

Thank you. So something else had an impact.
Actually this is very strange.
I already contacted the mod that updated the other day and they said there shouldn’t be any impact and even checked, just like you.
My setting is 0.1, but it doesn’t matter. I have the Xevyr mod installed, and any damage even of several units is clearly visible to me.
