They’re already in the game:
You just get to see them as they actually would look like, not what you want them to.
They’re already in the game:
Um, no. Those are imps. Not incubi/succubi. Completely different animal, like horses v.s. kangaroos.
From this one’s dusty recollection of lore, while smexy fiends are rare… REH lore has a prominent lewd vampire gal.
So, Vampires when?
Jesting aside
We have summoned f(r)iends.
They are great, if you don’t have them do violence for too long, they violence your other property people.
As for Zombies. They serve an excellent purpose. When you need disposable troops at that exact moment. They come out of the ground at level 20. Perhaps Razor Gord just spawned in your base because of course he does. You need troops fast.
Alternatively, you’ve been recently wiped and it’s time to rebuild. Don’t have the resources to outfit a proper thrall. Don’t want to spend the time in new hire orientation on the wheel.
Flip it around, because more zombies can follow than live thralls, perhaps you just need (rotting) meat walls for the final breach of an enemy clan’s perimeter.
The PvE uses are limited and basically boil down to don’t want to get invested until you get your Snowhunter or Lian or what have you and RNGesus just isn’t helping. Or you need purge defense quick.
PvP on the other hand…
Well, zombie bodies don’t drop loot. They are like pets in that regard. Less resources for the enemy if they do knock it down. They certainly aren’t the cream of the crop, but quantity has a quality all it’s own.
For RP purposes…
Well, this one does not tell others how to RP. But several persons who enjoy being able to trigger their own baby zomb-pocalypse are know to this one.
From the fact that you get the feat at the Summoning Place, and the lore notes found in the unmarked camp on the cliffs directly north of it, it would seem that this sorcery is something discovered by the Darfari tribe living there, as opposed to being some more widespread Darfari tribal sorcery. I would speculate it is specific to the Summoning Place and its access to Yog, so it might be more accurate to think of it as the magic of Giant Kings, which the Darfari tapped into and used for their own ends.
There’s a replacement to this lore lined up for 3.0. The darfari have more involvement than one might expect moving forward. A lot of involved parties and patrons behind this sorcery.
