You broke it, you fix it! How long can it take?

Say Deacon. What would you think about an idea I have. No, no, no, hear me out…

We roll back half of the entire GD game. Yeah? Pretty cool huh? Something you could get on board with?!

I actually have another layer for the roll back idea.
How about we request a forum roll back just for Macdallan to before he requested roll backs. Now that would be something i would support.
And just to not derail my own thread further:
FIX THE FRIGGIN INVENTORY!
please

I think many problems will show once the inventory is debugged.

For one, I notice there are items that shift in and out of view when… even on g-portal… it’s like I still have the item but can’t see it until the inventory is perused by the app.

I honestly don’t believe that there are any competent, experienced coders working on CE anymore. They’ve all been moved to Dune, and all that is left working on CE are a couple of modelers/texturers cranking things out for the bazaar and probably a skeleton crew of unblooded interns scrambling to meet deadlines and bullet points for the updates.
Every sign points to this, yet people are still expecting miracles. Some of the out of touch suggestions in this forum like “they should make a new map” just make me smh.

They should stop trying to add overly ambitious, half-baked and unasked for content like “living settlements” and just focus on fixing the countless bugs that they have introduced.

I didn’t derail anything, just made a simple comment about why I keep asking for roll backs that is related to the thread’s topic. Thanks for your input and opinion, I guess, but what you think about it isn’t really relevant. You all know I’m going to keep posting whatever I want - just like you do - because this is a forum and that’s why it’s here.

Of course you are. I created a post asking for a fix of inventory issues and you take that as an opportunity to sing your same old song.
Of course you are free to write whatever you want, but out of courtesy to other people and common sense in regards of meaningful discussions and respect for other peoples topics, you shouldn’t.
To stay on topic:
The inventory is one of the things you access all the time and it definitly needs fixing.

But it would cost them. You thinking they can do it for free proves cluelessness.

If that worked NPCs would fall through, we wouldn’t have push off ledges, and pets would be more then ornaments. All persistence means to funcom is people have OCD.

You derail threads with your nonsense on a regular bases it’s what you do best.

Google “obfuscate”.

:mirror:

And make funcom nothing because none of the players on a roll back server could use new content so no Bazaar sales. funcom s not going to waste finances on a server that wont make them any money.

And pulling this thread over because the kid in the back seat just will not stop asking if we are there yet. Thanks @Macdallan Great way to end a productive thread.

Anyone wondering why I keep calling for a patch roll back to pre-sorcery - this is one of the big reasons. It takes them forever to fix SOME problems that they cause, and they never fix ALL the problems that they add to the game with these unwanted, unnecessary changes.

Here’s the thing, bud- a patch roll back to the point in time BEFORE the inventory issues were a problem IS a fix for the inventory issues. Not off topic, not derailing. Legitimate fix.

A few of you just don’t get it and that’s fine, but you need to stop harassing me about it.

That sounds an awful lot like I’m NOT free to write whatever I want.

You really gotta think these things through before you post them.

at this point you are simply trolling.
And it isn’t harassment, it is pointing out that you should be considerate towards others opinion and not hijack every thread and making it pointless by trying to force your own opinion on every one here.
If you just want to blare out things without wanting to have a conversation with others, perhaps you should think about not posting in a forum but rather just do that on X or something like that.
I actually would appreciate a roll back of the forum to a time before you started to play the “I want a roll back” game and actually derailing a lot of posts.
It is getting to a point where your posts are starting to be more annoying than FC implementation issues, because you are simply disrupting any meaningful discussion.
You really gotta think these things through before you post them.

The best fix to the menu/inventory issues is… fixing the issues.

But more appropriate to report for “off topic” if he is doing this in every thread that has nothing to do with rollbacks.

That’s actually because you ARE NOT FREE TO WRITE WHATEVER YOU WANT.

Just try going over these again.
Funcom’s forum Social Guidlines

Yeah, obviously forum rules exist… but you know what I meant.

Yeah, the settlement system was not well designed, not thought through before it was implemented, and it’s utterly pointless since it’s just a moving cosmetic function. The inventory should be reverted to how it was before the inventory and UI overhaul, it was working fine back then.

Erratic and inconsistent is right, and I think they have a vision that doesn’t line up with what most players want or what the game actually needs - and in some cases what the game can realistically make happen. I feel like they want a completely different game than what CE was always meant to be and they keep trying to change it to be something that it simply can’t become. They would be better off starting a side project to make that game, whatever it is, and just put this game back the way it should be.
