Ive built fairly close to the obelisk at N6, but this bug happends 20 blocks from it at the ruins. My base is 100% stability of sandstone blocks. Yet 4 blocks i place down in this gap, shows 0 stability. Also 3 stairs in line. Everything around it shows 100% stability?
Take a look under your foundations, they may be floating a bit, so not directly attached to ground. This may lose all your stability.
This is a bug in the game.
I think bug yes, all foundations 100% inside the ground.
BTW I fixed this by placing fence foundations, first then the stairs.
And those other two places I placed hatch frames.
