I was excited to have a quick look at the new update but as soon as I woke up in my base I lost my mood and logged off. The inverted sloped pieces of the Stormglass set turned around, and while it looks kinda cool, it’s not how I built it lol. I hope it can be reverted or if not, to be confirmed this is how it is now, so I can redo it.

Just an extra info, in their previous state, they didn’t really seal well either, for some reason I still had rain coming through the windowed roof however the floor was at least dry.

Having similar issue here, cannot place inverted slope pieces properly.
Yesterday before patch I build a small base just to redo it again today and recording it for youtube… well, i had to stop recording, its impossible to place inverted slope nemedian roof like yesterday. There had to be a bug.
@MondayAddams or @acrabasco, do either of you have mods loaded?
I ask because my nemediaum stables is intact and as expected.
Pippi and Fashionist, going to try without them.
@Barnes had mentioned that there can be an up to 72 hour delay for mods to address updates.

No, I’m trying without mods… still same issue. There’s something wrong with inverted slope roof definitively.
I just did a test build in vanilla solo and I am not able to reproduce the issue . If you would like to DM me screenshots, I can post them for you.
Of course, will do it before dine 
Its getting weirder with time, I rebuild same structure and it works, but I cannot make it work on the original one.
Going to create a new save and rebuild, maybe theres someth wrong with that save.

I honestly wasn’t in the mood to bother with it and probably wont play around with it tonight (10pm now), will see if I can redo it tomorrow. Hopefully! Thanks for the replies. Just didn’t want to put time in it if it’s a bug and will revert or so.

I spent two nights trying to get the inverted wall pieces to work they way they are now. Gave up and accepted it, but was pleasantly surprised to see it looking like it does now.
All my stormglass inverted sloped walls were backwards/reversed after the patch. I was able to redo them with no issues however. Official server.
Many of the inverted sloped walls have been switched with each other for some time. Maybe this was a fix to that.

Yeah I was wondering too, in different sets the left and right sides were the opposites, might have been a fix as you said. I just wasn’t sure as I’ve not seen much mention of building pieces in this update log but maybe just missed it.
Edit: I logged in to see what’s up, especially when I noticed another update. I fixed the flipped bits with no problem, tbh it was easier to place them now than before, so I guess it worked out better than expected!
I think they were accidentally reversed and they fixed that.
The only thing we got from 2.8 is the modded servers all being down and not come back up.
The rest of 2.8 is not what big kids use. If I wanted an emote it would have been a middle finger
