Actually he does, just not on screen. It’s one of my favorite scenes: when Conan’s being chased by wolves after just being freed, and he finds the Atlantean Sword in the cave, climbs up and cuts off his chain. Then looks at the camera, gives a sort of ‘oh my how the tables have turned’ look… Cut to next scene where he’s wearing badass wolf-skin armor
