A very special announcement with community vibes: Something to watch this weekend!

Join us Saturday, October 5 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM EST / 9 PM UTC / 11 PM CEST on GamerCrossroads’ Twitch for a live interview with our amazing modder and Chosen of Asura, Multigun!

Multigun is a modder known for, well, mods. Like Less Building Placement Restrictions (here), allowing many to explore their inner creativity.
And their help in many mods, I can’t even begin to name them all (It’s only 22 mods in total…not bad, right?).
Besides that, they’ve spent many hours delicately preparing stream summaries and (since joining) actively participating in community discussions. This is also, among others, why they were awarded Chosen of Asura for December 2018 as the first Exile in the history of the Exiled Lands (here). Not to forget, they’ve even been in the secret force for the December 2019 Mounts update?

Consequently, they have and are pushing the boundaries of this community’s imagination. Could you imagine what we would be doing without them?
Luckily, there’s many more Exiles out there that you will want to meet. We’d like you to get to know them, but we can’t discuss them all at once.
We’ll leave it to Funcom to decide who will be Chosen of Asura next. *As you might know, this bi-monthly treat is coming at the end of this month. You’re able to send in your choice [here] (I can’t find it, continue to read please :smirk: )

GamerCrossroads has over a year worth of near bi-weekly podcasts and interviews. To date, its fanbase continues to be active and the hosts have covered plenty of games and subjects. One of them, Brizz, agreed to do this promotion after needing to postphone this interview last week after not feeling so well. This announcement is a shoutout to him and his community for staying strong. :hearts:

Insert hopefully hearfelt admiration:

The interview will be available on standard floppydisks afterwards.
And if you can’t resist a replay, it’ll be available on their YouTube too - go check them out:

This was originally announced on the fan-made Conan Exiles discord.
It’s a free for all travelers’ tavern! (ain’t that good to pronounce, ay?)

As many times as I see them, old Conan clips are the greatest

Probably yes to both, but mostly the joke part (in this case).

It’s fine, I just found a USB-connectable floppy disk drive at work, so I can watch it.

I could watch it on my giant 17inch Sony Vaio monitor. It still works well at about 25 years old.

Lol did it come attached to a keyboard? I have a Sony Vaio 17inch laptop from early 2000s… it’s still functional

It connected to a Sony tower . Hard drive filled with windows to the point it would not hardly run. I think it’s still in a closet.

Hey there,

Please do not derail the thread. This is a community event.

I am confused, have I missed something here…!? Has @Multigun made the special announcement been made yet? The direct link to @TheLOLxd2 video above was just showcasing The Elder Scrolls Online gameplay. I dont get it…

It was a live stream podcast thing. I’ll DM you the youtube link.

To explain further, Gamer Crossroads is hosted by Brizz and several others. It’s a video game related live podcast that is hosted every week. I was just the latest guest in a long line of these streams. Brizz would be the best person to summarize what Gamer Crossroads is all about though. All archived videos can be found here. The discussed topics while I was on the podcast was about modding for Conan Exiles and game design.

In Honor of Brizz and for having me on as a guest, I would like to take a short moment to explain something near and dear to Brizz and something Gamer Crossroads often discusses at the end of their streams. That is the “Stack Up” program. Their “About Us” section says,

Founded in 2015, Stack Up brings both veterans and civilian supporters together through a shared love of video gaming through their primary programs: The Stacks, Supply Crates, Air Assaults and the Stack Up Overwatch Program

Every year, Stack Up does a Call to Arms event which helps raise money to help veterans through the love and passion of video games. You can read about it here. If you would like to help contribute to Stack Up, you may find a donation link setup by Brizz and the Gamers Crossroads team here.

That is a truly great thing. I have a friend that I used to work with was a tanker in Jordan about 70 percent of his squad committed suicide. These people need support. Thank You.

That explains it. My potato internet froze up pretty much in the middle of what you were saying. :oden: A spare link would be great.

Outstanding. Congratulations on your guest appearance Multi, and thankyou to yourself and Brizz for supporting our returned service men. It is a truly noble cause. They fought for us when on deployment, it is up to us to fight for them when they come home.
