About FOMO battle pass - did i already missed some stuff?

I heard there’s FOMO battle pass that you have to finish each time otherwise you gonna miss some stuff you won’t be able to get EVER. I was not able to play for long time and im thinking about getting back to game as there’s a lot new stuff.

TLDR: As far as i know there’s battle pass 2 - so i missed opportunity to get unique stuff i wont be able to get ever? If its the case is there some list of items i wont be able to get ever?

That has a breakdown of all the things offered over the first battle pass.

Damm… That’s a lot stuff.
Seriously its all FOMO and i wont be able to get JUST because i had important irl stuff and couldn’t afford to play at all?

That is my understanding but I don’t have any insider knowledge on the subject. Based on the fact they haven’t budged on offering limited time items in the past after the initial availability, I’d say it’s unlikely they’ll offer it up again.

But who knows? There is nothing stopping them from adding a second page to the bazaar offering past battle pass items individually for Crom coins.

I understand but it seems all information indicates its the case.

I don’t like it at all - people have real lifes, duties, families… And that’s A LOT stuff missed. I reconsider may return again.

There is currently an Arcane bookshelf in the Bazaar that seems to be a different colour of the Arcane curio cabinet from the first Battle Pass.

In the current Battle Pass, there is a Small Cedar Tree.
There is also a Small Cedar Tree in the Bazaar.

The Gurnakhi armour in the first BP is a bit different from the Gurnakhi armour in the Bazaar. The BP version has tusks on the collar.

That makes this one think there might be an Acheronian Jackal mage mummy outfit in the Bazaar in the future, which might have similarities with the Fox Illusionist in the current BP.

Just learn to live with it
I don’t mean this in a bad way.

You ask so much.

For some people, it is exceptionally difficult to live with an incomplete collection.
There is a saying, not ancient, relatively (in the past half century if memory serves, but it rarely does) recently.

The things we own, end up owning us.

Or something similar to that.

It is so very easy for people to become the thralls of the things they acquire. An exceedingly dangerous situation. Instead of working a farm where we grow food we may eat, we pay for a pixelated farm, where we spend our hours making pictures we cannot consume. The level of detachment required to enjoy a thing without falling prey to obsession (on various levels) with it is a bit of murky territory.

On the one hand, we must not be ruled by our distractions, on the other, if we are not at least a little invested, having any catharsis will be very difficult.

You don’t mean it in a bad way, and it is excellent advice. But for some it is a supreme challenge to follow.

I know this is true, I learned to live with it and trust me this was hard.
But in the end it doesn’t really matter if you own something or not, what matters is what you have gotten.

I mean, be happy with the things we have, don’t think to much about the things we can’t get, there’s a ton of stuff in the world that’s not accessible for everyone

You could argue both sides might be selfish, the one owning the content that want it to remain exclusive, or someone that what’s the same thing making it a common generic piece haha

We live in the age of battle passes. Either accept that - or move on and find a game that does not use battle passes.

“You guys are being scammed, pay more for content than You should, get used to it!”
No, i won’t

How is paying for something when you know what you’re paying for a scam?

It’s not. If you don’t like the price, that’s fine, but it’s not likely to change.

Most stuff are useless cosmetics except the battlepass structuresthat are pay to win, and the immortal thrall…

Like I posted earlier - if you dont like paying for the things, don’t pay for the things. You aren’t required to pay for a battlepass to play the game.

If you covet the battlepass items but dont want to pay for them and that makes you mad - for your own health and blood pressure - go find a different game. More and more AAA games have moved to this, so start supporting indie developers if you want to stick it to the man or fire up your own game studio and make games that have tons of content that you aren’t going to charge for.

No one is being scammed. Thats easily the most laughable thing I’ve read this week. You know exactly what you are getting if you pay for it and you know exactly what you are not getting if you choose to not pay for it.

Where did i spoke about paying things? Im talking about FOMO and predatory psychological ways grab people while having negative effects on metal health.

Please don’t tell me what to do, im allowed to speak what i think about it what i like and what i dislike.

People with attitude like yours are reason they do things like that and i hope it will be illegal in future (FOMO, lootboxes and other predatory ways…) People like You think its just fine that way and it gets gaming industry low and lower each year.

Well there must be millions of people like 'US" then, because the gaming industry and their BPs and Bazars are booming. You are like the little boy with his finger in the dike. Trying to save us all from ourselves. Please stop.

Actually no its people that spend money on things that you feel they shouldn’t are why the gaming industry is the way it is. I work in the gaming industry. I have seen the marketing data. I have printed off the sales reports. The FOMO and Bazaars make companies a shed load of money because most people are happy to pay it for the entertainment they are getting and it helps these studios meet their financials. Whether you hate it or not.

I also know from research in the industry that a good chunk of people screaming at the wall like you also pay in to the system just as much, so I don’t take much of what you are saying with any real credibility. For every one Wielder screaming red faced at the wall, there are 10-15 others putting quarters in the machine and enjoying their time that say nothing.

What you are doing is virtue signaling and screaming at a wall thinking you’re going to change the system while then trying to passive aggressively shame people that don’t think like you do in an effort to climb to some moral high ground.

Please continue screaming at that wall though. I’m sure after the financial goals have been met that Ten Cent will consider your argument and do as you ask.

Truth.

I’ll give you that, the descriptions are not the greatest and should be tweaked.

To be honest, I bought the Khitan set just for the gibbet, I could care less about the armor, the wanted poster, or the head trophy. I agree with you that the descripters are weak, but since you can superimpose any armor over dragon scale, does it matter?
