Really? Total and complete Silence? Because 7 hours ago their are posts talking about changes. It is currently 5am in Funcom land. They have been killing them selves getting thing ready… and they are likely asleep while people demand things with a level of entitlement that is remarkable.
It is launch. Yes they need more servers… however you can’t migrate servers. If you want PvE play single player or coop for a few days while things stabilize. There is no way to know what server types you need 100% or how many. You put up enough that you don’t have to close some down and load more up over time. And they have been doing that. They have to be careful though not to put too many up and find out that half the servers a week from now only ever have 10 or 15 players on at any given time. It is the nature of this kind of game. It was always going to be rough the first few days. I knew that the day I bought the game in Early access. If you bought a game the day of Launch and expected the servers to run perfectly and to not have a hard time getting in… well I have no sympathy for you.
The only thing they really should have done, the only useful suggestion I’ve seen on these forums… which I refrained for the most part about posting on the last 18 hours… is a queue system.
There are lots of Private Servers out there if you really want to test the water. If you want to refund get one, if you want the help of the Devs calm down, stop behaving like a spoiled 12 year old and wait for a response. Instead of spamming vitriol nonsense and insults.
lots of white knights in here saying to go to private servers, or i should have expected to not be able to play a game i purchesed…no i want real servers, servers that were advertised,
million copies sold, the need of even being able to house 5% of the players they STILL fell short by more than half 5% 50k people they dont even have enough for that 3%…nope 2% maybe? 2% let that sink in…whining ? you sell a product that only 2% of people can fulfill, it is being sold as a multiplayer ONLINE game, spoiled 12 year old? you buy a car and it only goes 2% of the speed of what it should…you would be livid no??? 1 mile an hour down the highway…yeah lol im spoiled for wanting what i paid for?
been playing EA for well over 600 hours (not as much as some) ive done all the single player i care to do for playtesting their game for them and finding bugs. now i would like to play the game i was promised and have been waiting a good year for. as they slowly add single digit servers, simple math sold vs housing not EVEN close, and no matter if they have 100 or 10000 servers the same will happen and servers will be half full in a few months, so best bring tons online so people can play instead of worring about 3 months from now, this is a problem now, that is a problem for later, im sure by then they can figure out something for migrating people to others servers tho im sure they would just shut them down without telling us, i mean look at what they did to the conflit servers
Well you got 600 hours… you got your monies worth chill out wait a day or two and let them work it out. Clearly the game out sold projections. Posting once… is a concern. Posting twice is a compliant. Posting 26 times is whining like a child.
The only thing they said 7 hours ago was them defending turning PVEC servers into PVP servers instead of just adding more PVP servers. And yes there’s no way to know what types and how many servers they need for launch. But you can probably guess that when you sell a million copies, you just might need more than 130 servers (enough for about 5200 players). It’s not the actual problem that annoys me; it’s the lack of communication from the devs about the problem.
Dude noones disagreeing they need more. Give them a day or so is all. U been shouting like it can be done whilest they sleep is all. Let them get to work n see wot happens bro
Good so you did see that they posted… 7 hours ago at 10pm their time. That isn’t nothing. That isn’t disappeared. That is up at 10pm responding to issues. Maybe just maybe go have your bottle. Wait for the Devs to get into work and see what options are there. Rather than making needless accusations about disappearing… when people are asleep. Not to mention the servers are through a partner service. So they have to arrange that with them too. Who likely are also a sleep after midnight.
and do i think this forum fixes anything, HAHAHA! almost zero forums posts lead to ANYTHING on any forum for any game, only outlet to complain about the game,
communication from those at the top does WONDERS for the mentality of your player base however

You don’t get to just go to bed when the product you just launched is crashing and burning lmao. That’s not how you run a business. They very very least they could do is communicate with us, and they can’t even be bothered to do that.
