Number one:
Seriously. I don’t care how much shrugs or ponting to devkit these posts get, there is absolutely NO SENSE in spawning the purge on the base. One of the basic things in building a safe habitat are walls that protect it. And when there’s an attack coming you should be able to defend your base properly instead of having to watch a bunch of apes pound your roof in. It’s very difficult to get thralls up there since you have to be there yourself first, and when the thrall finally spawns up there he can’t get to the enemies since there are ceiling pieces missing from between them. And i should be able to build the kind of roof that i want without having to take into consideration enemies that just spawn on it from the thin air. And if the base is up in a tree or on top of a cliff where the purge can’t reach, so be it. That’s the idea of such bases, they are unreachable.
Number two:
Now that the loading screen times have been noticeably longer on PS4, you really should change the teleport system so that the character doesn’t spawn until the loading is done. The loading takes up to a couple of minutes sometimes, and i’m not the only one so the problem isn’t in my connection. Worked fine before some of the recent updates. During this wait i either receive a ridiculous amount of corruption or a blade to my neck and lose my gear.
