My archer thrall doesnt seem to want to attack now since the patch. Even if i make him follow me and get into a fight. He pulls out his bow and stands there and doesnt help. If the enemy gets close he will pull out his sword and do nothing also.

We’re already aware of this issue and its being looked into by the developers.
It might take place either when archers switch between melee and ranged or when they have only a bow equipped.
As a temporary workaround you may try to reset their behavior by unequipping their bow, having them fight with their melee weapon, then equipping the bow again.
Yeah ive had to remove their weapon and put it back multiple times before they will finally attack. I also notices sometimes if you place their weapon in the head armor slot it works to. Odd you can even place a weapon there though.
