Armor temperature attunment

Now here’s the idea. There are a lot of cool armor that’s fun to mix and match but there’s a slight problem. Depending on were you live at you can’t were certain armor due to the climate. Well i like the looks of mixing armors with the yamatai sets but i live in the snow area of the map so i can’t were it without dying of hypothermia. Which sucks because i really like the looks.
So here is the solution. Make two sets of linings for the armor one will tune it for the heat and the other to the cold. That way the armor defense and stat bonuses will remain unchanged and we can still dress to impress our foes as they bleed out they will think oh i’m dying but that sure is a snazzy outfit. But that’s my opinion on it and i feel like it just makes sense but what do you guys think?

I honestly think they need to change the way the whole cold and heat system works. You should not be able to freeze in the desert with armor on if you don’t freez when you are naked!

They also need to give players and followers a debuff if you are naked. Pants and a shirt should be the minimum to remove the debuff. This would balance the pvpve a lot in temperate zones.

My assumption is the alchemical base provides some sort of “magical properties” to the armor. Given that assumption having two type of alchemical base one with cold resistance made from gold, silver iichor, and black ice would offer “magic or mystical” cold resistance. While alchemical base made with gold, silver, ichor, and demon blood would offer some sort of “magical heat protection”. The player would get one or two bars resistance depending upon which station it was made at. IE to get two bars of resistance the alchemical base would need to be made at the “improved Firebowl cauldron” and the armor would need to be constructed at the improved armorer’s bench. The heat resistance armor would be the same. To get one bar resistance the alchemical base is made at the firebowl cauldron and armorer’s bench.

Then it should be an armor enchantment of sorts and not build in to the armor. When you build with basic materials. I don’t think there is anything wrong with having armor enchantments or kits that do this.

However, it think the way the mechanics are build in the game are not great. It regulates heat in a way that is not logical. Like i mentioned above and i can not say this enough, a penalty for being naked is also needed!

or your character needs more body hear, lol. (Body hear potion, least do it!)

I agree the temp. system needs a reworking. I can not tell you how many times I have died (after teleporting using the map room), (from a long load screen time) due to temps, or being attacked while trying to load.

Well that’s the idea behind the two different linings because they would both offer different temperature resistance and it’s like how they were made back then they would infuse the desired insulation with the padding to make it’s usability suit the condition the armor would worn in
