That is the point,a guardian solo in PvP. You say “with a healer”
What if you do not have a healer?
I dunno about Dark templar.
I tell my experience in a PvP solo with a guardian in open world like fury (that applyes in battleground in crom)
I was being beated by two damage dealers only 1 or 2 levels above of my guardian.
One was a Ranger the other i not remember if was an Assassin or barbarian,It was more than 5 years ago. And more than 8 too.
The point is that Dark templar is a class i always would like to play by his life steal. But i do not,first because my past experience with a guardian and later cause i have not a pc to play now.
And i do not want that two kids “bros” beat me again because i have not enough attack power.
If you feel confortable playing a guardian,conqueror or Dark templar,It is ok.
Tell everyone how fantastic is to play a tank in AoC.
But in game is allowed to do PvP in battlegrounds or open world permitted áreas i am not the one to eat hits and die solo because yes,i am a lone wolf and you have your “bros” to help you.
If the open thread user will play solo,i tell my experience in the past because i played solo either and with a tank.
Do not say “you hate tanks”,no. The first character i played in my first mmorpg was a paladín,It was good experience until i leaved from the game.
Later i tryed Age of Conan and things happenned.
Is depending the game,is not like i hate tanks.
The open thread user says who is better for solo,barb or conq,in Age of Conan. I say go with barb.
Personally i have no problem to play other classes and roles,but since i will play solo in Age of Conan,i will pick a dd or even a healer cause my past experience IN AGE OF CONAN with a tank.
By the way,is my point of view and my experience. At the end,depends what you like to play. Again i would like to play a Dark templar class if there are no enemyes around or if the Dark templar,with the life steals attacks can have enough endurance to win two dds without a healer.
I dunno what happen again,that is what i am worryed.
I am not closed to play a tank,but i am not secure. And i like to go with security.
But the open thread user says between conq and barb. I have nothing more to say. The decission is what he like to play.
But later do not come here and magically open a new thread saying “my conq assbeated”
