Do please keep in mind that a lot of players unfamiliar with Testlive’s way of “no server restarts” can be surprised by spongy behavior and laggy stuff. A few people yesterday were surprised to learn that.
I think the ice bridge is great. You can finally get up into Aqueduct bases really quickly.
for me so far only thing that should be changed is the ‘‘īnfinite’’ building without timers on level 20 when u get stone and wood full inventory… because well just wait to see high walls and bridges all over maps if thats not like settings for testlive
For me magic and attributes is best but sad that witch doc is gone ;c also events seems nice just cant figure how to trigger some - like that black dome…
Ye ice bridge is nice but a bit too magical - i mean u can make it fly at some point but i guess that is how magic works

Useless magic is maybe only 1 iknow it was useless , in some point but cant remember at spot with one… it was like when i used it - yeh laziness sure, like who would use it on pve…or pvp, ah ye i think it was that clone making ( but i guess i update post when i found right one ) i mean imagine pvp situation, u are against player, like right he will wait 1 minute almost till u find and cast that spell xD and thats 50% corrupted spell…

So if someone don’t have atleast 5h daily to play you say they shouldn’t play on pvp server? That’s just bold statement - i wonder how many playerbase you will have after that reduction.

That’s your opinion not something MUST BE 100% - Conan is not rust and ark btw, a lot of mechanics are WAAY different.

Maybe your first statement is partially reason for it?
this is one of the most absurd things i ever hear.
When you start a server it is most likely that you will get attacked at minute 1 of the first raid day.
How you are supposed to have the same farm, same gear,same weapons, same followers and all the things you need for pvp or at the very least something as close as meta gear or weapons like the alpha or establishied clans?
YOU CAN’T in 1 day, it is IMPOSSIBLE. even with 10 man clan farming everything. there is always a million of things you need.
All you can do is hide and pray they don’t find you (i actually do this often)
but i also have seen a cheat that let people know where you are so lately i am being found more often.
You need a base and be able to defend that base. they are even adding MORE benches and stuff you need.
What worries me is that raiding is becoming easier and easier, if before you could lose your base in 10 minutes now it can be in maybe 5 minutes.

and the nerf of drawbridge (this is a good thing actually)
explosive arrows and demon fire orb got a buff and the only T3 piece that got a buff is doors and gate doors, gate frames got nerfed.
What is even the point of having walls.
What is the point of having a pillar base the only possible build locations is on caves now and that is not always possible those bases are usually occupied xD.
The defender needs more tools to promote active defense so they can feel home field advantange.
The attacker is the one who is making risky moves.
And not always attack is the best defense because you need to have the resources to support the attack
sometimes you do actually need to defend your damn base if you want to stand a chance.
The very one’s who are raiding you day 1 figured out how to accomplish establishing themselves. Either figure it out and win. Or accept that you simply lost.
In PVP someone wins and someone loses. With that attitude you are losing and will always lose.
I bet they see it but they don’t understand the issue. Yes it’s power and yes you can use it to bypass defense measures. And? What precisely are you developing that will adjust your defense strategies with 3.0?
One of mine is doors…I don’t need them in my stores base anymore. My fake base will also house an active teleporter while my stores base will be hidden away, entombed, with a teleporter I activate and deactive as a means to secure it.
But what are you doing differently in your next build? This game is also about learning from mistakes made. You build every day until you figure out how to build without getting raided. At least that was when I first started…then the dry times where I got soft sitting as server lord because I wasn’t challenged outside of the quarterly noob that claimed experienced and whined and trash talked (just weird dynamic) the whole time about getting hit until they called outsiders in to get revenge who in turn trash talked mostly and believed they won when they got a whole chest full of goodies…wow. …then came the ennui time where I was just bored and raiding served absolutely no benefit for me (still technically doesn’t). This 3.0 has gotten my blood flowing in a sense that it’s all new again.
All we are saying is being able to have a defendable base and not being melted in 5 minutes.
if you think that you can fight fire vs fire on day 1 with people who have more farm than you then YOU are going to lose.
it is simply a design choice that should be looked at if they really wanna have a more balanced raiding.
Nerfing the bridge was GREAT.
Now, making your walls useless unless they have ceillings, not so much, it will only promote people spamming ceillings making their base bigger to what they should be, more lag and more chances of being banned.
Defending is becoming harder.
i just think they should keep an eye to what they are adding and nerfing.

don’t worry, i will be fine, i never lost a war on official. i am just saying what i am seeing and from my experience.
its funny that with the new TP they are also negating DOORS.
once i have the TP network i am not using doors ever again. i can simply delete a wall or enter my base from somewhere else.

Yes but at that point you are already lost and just delaying the inevitable. Strategically, if you are on the run like that and playing defense, they have the advantage on you already and that means they have time and or numbers so you are already losing your hold because of that alone. If you are defending your base, then they know where you area and are sieging it. They already have the numbers so you can only try to delay the eventual breach and hope you can stall for 5 hours. After that, your base is lost. Move and try to do so without being detected. (Teleporters…just saying) to a holding area so that you can build your next location (which you have already planned on hopefully). Building will take a few days and with just a little luck (because there are so many different cracks and crannies to hold up in while the next base is being made) you surive to live another day. Hopefully you changed your base design to something a bit more…inconspicuous because as the previous base revealed, you are at the disadvantage and so you gotta play smart and low key to remotely survive…and that is all you can do until you gain an advantage (either you get friends in or they get bored and leave themselves vunerable).
True but both combatants could be playing different games so they both win and both lose. For instance, you sure smacked me down…I suck you big strong barbarian…oh those screen shots, don’t worry about those and the weaknesses I get from scouring them for a raid while you are busy raiding my place that I’m leading you to tomorrow night.

the first war i ever won was defending my new base from the alpha clan.
they attacked us for 2 days, we managed to defend, they spend their resources while we were stronger every passing minute and they realiced: they were going to lose, we broke their spirit, maybe they could not believe what was happening. so they quit.
The ones who delayed the inevatble was them, our victory was a matter of time.
and i have seen this attacking as well, on a siptah server we attacked the alpha on day 4 we made a huge outpost and you know how much time we fighted?
3 days! 3 entire raid time days fighting at their base, they managed to repel us and resist, we ran out of resources to attack, they won that battle and they had the upper hand.
so we retreated to our base.
Problem was, they weren’t as good attackers like they were as defenders.
we anhialated them. and they quit. they won a battle, we won the war.
i have so many other examples during all my wars on officials, i could go all day.
So please, don’t come to me with this nonsense of “the best defense is an attack” That is not always the case, its a matter of resources, tactics, strategy, economy and spirit.
