Bat and ice bridge to op?

you don’t realice it but im trying to speak for smaller clans.
i don’t mind this that much, i play on a big clan, we have experience on this, we have done this before, we will do it again.
but if we abused from small clans and offline people before, now it will be worse.

Btw Pve-c doesn’t have any building damage so no, is not the same. is not pvp.
your comparassion has nothing to do with what we are talking about.

i said, a base that last more than 5 minutes.

This wont help. Because the farming is for loot that never goes away. If at 1x farmrate a player plays 40 hours and farms 1000 explosive, and i, with a hectic schedule can only log 10 hours and 250 bombs, means I am 750 bombs behind. If you increase farm rate to just 2x, now i am 1500 bombs behind. The answer is 2 things,
1 demon powder, explosives and explosive arrows need a decay timer that cant be stopped. Meaning use what you within 24 hours.
2. Offline raiding stopped and go 24/7 raid window where you can only be raided while 9nline plus 30 minute cooldown after log off.

Yes, and possibly by a large amount.

Will they make offlining more impactful, most likely. For the bat, put more archers on the tops of the wall. For the bridge… This one needs to putz around a bit more. However, it does add to the somewhat realistic point to look for high ground to build fortifications on.

So far, and this one has only used them a limited amount, the primary suggestion to add would be fragility to the Ice Bridge. Like the Bat, a single strike should destroy it.

On a more amusing note, this update includes the tool to make this largely irrelevant. Build a FOB that is raid bait and your staging ground, but keep your good stuff in horrible to access areas that are only really accessible via the new transporter.
If a clan is too weak to hold what they claim, then the last person fleeing their smouldering pile of failure can be the sacrifice goat to dismantle the teleport device on their end.

lol, so they havve a great view? You are lucky if more than 2 activate.

ToS violations if you build just to build though. And i am one that isnt all FC evil for having ToS, just stating a fact.

Cant do that if you are offline enjoying family time. Which is the biggest flaw of official pvp, it is too much of a 2nd job to keep a solid casual player base. So all that is left are try hards and lifers, and they get really attached to the virtual world ego, almost to a sickness level.

Then you have made your choice.
A superior choice, but ultimately, forfeiting a game is losing the game. Others on a server don’t have to make appointments to play just because someone else has a full schedule or other priorities.

Also, as for ToS violation?
A FOB is a Forward Operating Base.
It’s not building for the sake of building. It is a temporary resource vault, a jumping off point, a ready respawn/resupply point. That’s not building spam. Not that craven effluence who cannot win in battle won’t pray to admin Crom to wipe a foe they cannot defeat regardless.

That aside, the meta will change. That’s what happens when new weapons are brought to war. Those who refuse to adapt are vanquished. As they should be.

Now, some of your complaints seem to be more angled at other issues already in game and how these new tools will shine a spotlight on them. Which is fair, nothing is perfect, but it’s an odd hill to fight on.

sure you gameplay definition is to stay 5 hour by day on your roof to guard, they are not adding pvp abilities they are adding feature that will male the siege system (attacker/defenderà totally unbalanced). can’t wait to see the 10 guys clan with their bat jump on your roof withs ton of bomb, i just hope that funcom will have the idea to build base to raid, because for sure players that like defense in siege system of conan will simply quit the game.

you still have no idea of what pvp players are, actually a majority of pvp players prefer defense, and don’t like to attack.

question is will you be the one to come on pvp server to build base, lost 50-100 hours and be sure to lost all in 2 mn without any luck of defending it.

and you ignore problem of solo players or litlle clan, when you are alone, you will go attack 10 players clan base ? and don’t you have the right to make it hard for 10 clan guys when they raid you ? now 10 bats going on your roofs ? sure… great balanced gameplay

and i don(t even talk about the ability to transfer loot with bat very quicky out of the defender… that will totally break pvp game.

The majority of players are PVE. Even on PVP servers.

Deciding to go solo is a self handicap and a choice. If it causes them to lose, then it simply was the wrong choice. They should lose and badly if they try to fight 10 at once. What they should do is swallow their pride and do what the 10 man clans tell them to do. If they want to play they should learn their place and submit.

That is PVP. Anything else is PVE.

well you will have a very empty game, i hope you will be the one building base to be raided, or that fc will do. good luck and enjoy

also enjoy the tp tool to make life easier for cheaters.

Pvp is already broken since a very long time … I want to be back to november 2019 before horses and everything that follow … :slight_smile:

If this is enough to kill the game, then there isn’t enough game anyway. It should die. And if it does, I’ll simply move on to the next game and kill that too, I don’t have any reason to cater to noncompetitive players in PVP. They’re just to be farmed at best.

But CE has been around for 5 years, its not going anywhere. These features will do nothing to change that. And if it does. Oh well. They will always win. Remember that.

yes pvp is not going on the right way for long time, but those new features will simply … well dead end as they broke the whole siege system.

@Taemien personnaly i want ce to live long, it was from far the best survival game, but if it becomes so unbalanced with in addition with the tos management they did, on which obviously they put priority when pvp servers are full of professional cheaters, with the best will of a customer, it’s becoming impossible.

And we don’t want you to. That would be boring. But that arrogance will get you in trouble. Just saying don’t discount the solo’s ability to break up an alpha’s stable reign. Many of us are very adept at psy ops and we love stirring pots that others want to keep calm…it’s how we leverage the solo play.

And it will. Despite any fears brought up in this thread. Also cheats/hacks are a bit beyond the scope of the thread and the forums in general. There’s proper channels to use for that sort of thing.

I’ve been able to do this myself (such as making north of literally a thousand players quit in a MMORPG server over a doctored screenshot, and giving my guild uncontested access to most openworld raid content). I’m not discounting what a solo player can do. But that requires grit and will that isn’t being displayed in this thread.

Solo players getting antsy over bats that can be shot down by a pinprick, or a bridge that can be hacked down in a few hits aren’t going to be on the winning side in a conflict.

Either
A. They dont know how to build
B. They try to solo pvp servers(not usually gonna work anyway)
C.They dont have atleast a clan member on every day at the raid windows to let them know whats going on
D. They fear starting over, to which id say its part of the game, unless they keep increasing the prepwork to be competetive every update
E. That pretty much covers it, but my clans on break for our busy seasons: it would be nice to know were not getting offlined if we go out for a half a day

Edit all that being said, offline raiders usually lack in skill, ive noticed its typically on being defeated in the open field they opt in this way, despite saying “never will”

I think thralls should be active 100% of the time.

Best way make thrall still immune to player damage out side of raiders time.
