Hello guys
I reached level 60 too now and am thinking about purchasing the battle pass.

Do all the items work? Are some of the armor pieces still bugged?

Cause I won’t pay anything for items that are broken.

I think it’s worth it. The arcane windows and doors alone make it worth it but you got armor sets, horse skins, and that curio…Oh that curio is very very nice.

The only thing that I see at issue right now is that FC live account stuff isn’t always connecting to the game session and so you get times where you aren’t “entitled” to the stuff you earned and the only way to fix that on our end is to log out of the game and back int again to try to get a stable link to their servers that are managing the new digital ownerships.

If there bug they will be fixed eventually.

Buying it and getting the rewards should give you your crom coins back, so you can buy the next BP basically for free lol.

Which platform are you playing? Everything in the Battle Pass that I’ve tested so far (the tall window and door frames, both horse skins) has worked just fine on PC. Didn’t check the armors yet, but planning to craft a Gurnakhi armor for the next thrall I train.

I’m playing on PC as well.
I think I saw a post a week ago, where the arm and leg parts of two battle pass armors were invisible.
But…I can’t find it anymore no Idea what the title was.

Wait so you want me to pay money for a subscription that gets me nothing except access to new fetch quests I have to grind to finally get something…in a game so broken people are duping bombs? LOL

When you reduce the quality product at the same time you start trying to milk it for more fast cash…that’s not “Companies need to make money”. That’s greed.

Or was Funcom losing money? No? Then none of this was “necessary”.

Usually in almost any other industry, when a company wants to make more money they have to offer something new. Only in video games does a company seem to be able to endlessly repackage, remonetize, and rerelease their existing product while that product becomes increasingly more outdated, unstable and broken. Only gamers tolerate this.

Imagine if a car dealership took older cars that were starting to break down, slapped some new paint on them, and started selling them for the same price as new cars.

I know, I know…“Car dealerships need to make money”.

Well, personally i really like what i get from BP, but, its not compared by content\price with old DLcs…
No full building set (arcane)
No full weapons set
To many lvl wasted on torches\paints\illusions\1 used potions
Armor, decoratives, emotes, mounts are totally fine…
BIG prop to the art team, some models are stunning

So yes, BP is NORMAL but still lacking of content…

Biggest downslide is bazaar prices (8 usd for 1 banner*)
ANd new 3.0. restrictions (unable to loot skin gear until you buy it) - rip pvp\raids\clan shares\trade

From 1 side we get BIGGEST update + some cool content
From the other - really unbalanced monetization and gamebreaking rules to force it…

I must say, throughout my whole Battle pass I didn’t see a single Siptah-exclusive Challenge while I was playing solely on the Exiled Lands map. I own the Isle of Siptah expansion but didn’t log into Siptah during the season.

Yes, there are challenges that are considerably easier to accomplish on Siptah, but at least I didn’t encounter any that would’ve required me to log onto Siptah.

I trust you as a player and while your posts are not unusual, they’re providing the final amount of fuel to push me over the edge. This is something I won’t participate in. BP, Bazaar, any of it.

FOMO is a thing related to people, not games. If you choose you don’t care, you don’t care.
Its obvious and expected that Funcom, like all companies, would put things into battlepass that people actually want. You can’t blame them for that.

I have liked the items in this battlepass, because they support a consistent, wizardy style for my character and bases. Im still not sure whether the pass is actually worth the money, but if I can buy the next pass with coins from this one, it probably is.

Artificial scarcity isn’t a thing, if it was a handmade product that can’t be easily copied and distributed then it would make more sense. A digital item can be copied an infinite amount of times.

I have done more than my share of support of Funcom financially and do not mind paying for cosmetics or a battlepass- However this battlepass needs adjustments. The fact you get consumables (see lightning pots) that you can take into an official server (after you unlock them in single player) seems like an oversight at best.

I had a Maelstrom boss kill challenge the one time. But it seemed few/far between out of them all.

There probably aren’t that many Siptah-exclusive options to work with. And two many would just become an annoyance for players to do some in the Exiled Lands, some in Siptah.

They are one-time unlocks, and anyone with sorcery can do the same thing as the consumables. It’s not an oversight. It’s just to give people a taste of sorcery.

feedback: I dont think battlepass should have ANY challenges that are map-specific. Or that, if you are on a specific map, its location challenges would be geared to that map (I think they might be?). maybe it works well already.

I think the stormwracked is supposed to be able to be done both maps, but a lot of the events are not working for me.

If you hover over those stats in steam, the mixed is 62% positive feedback. On battlepass release it fell to 55% and has been rising slowly ever since. To date falling from 78% positive feedback pre-battlepass, or a net drop of 16% (less than 1 in 5). (this 78% being in the realm of "the game is dying ahhh the game is dying funcom killed the game - this is how grossly disparate forum comments are to actual enjoyment of the game by the global population)

As long as the revenue stream is meeting its target quota, it will continue on just fine.

I posted in a previous thread and I’ll post the same numbers here. I work in game dev, and have been on the marketing for this very topic and seen the actual results.

Almost half of a player base always rages against battle pass and bazaars and threatens to quit or says no one will pay it.

And in the end roughly 8-10% of those players actually quit, and a good chunk of those people threatening to quit pay into the system anyway.

You’re right. But it makes sense to separate those numbers because, as we’ve seen multiple times, the quality of the product varies between platforms. Console versions seem to suffer from bugs that don’t exist, or are very rare, on PC.
