I love Conan Exiles. I love everything about it.
This isn’t a dig post, just a bit of feedback of how I am utilizing the 2 new systems.
BattlePass items, imo, are much more fun/exciting vs what is currently up for sale in the bazaar. My coins will be held onto until something more shiny catches my eye.
As for the battlepass, my only goal is to unlock everything as soon as possible. To continue on with how I normally play the game, but with everything earned and unlocked.
I’m too cheap to buy the battlepass levels.
I’m not though without shame making a singleplayer god character. Spawning in/warping/etc whats needed to grind it out in a few days everyhing to max out the battlepass.
I feel like I’m cheesing the intent of the battlepass…but when the tools are there to make it so easy (yet grindy) to complete, I can’t be the only one taking this route? I see the battlepass as purchased dlc I have to “work” a few days for, unlock, and move on.
If the battlepass items were more char specific and not account specific, (yes, there are some…just not a lot), that would change my cheesy playstyle.
The dev stream said the Challenges were supposed to be tailored to your character level.
This was a lie. Everyone seems to share the same daily. Unless only the first group are fixed and all subsequent ones do scale to your character level.
Today was the following:
Harvest Iron - doable at level 1 easily
Harvest some feathers from a nest - doable? But like, not possible on Siptah.
Harvest Black Ice - figure level 20 is required. Not sure if this one is possible on Siptah.
Volcano area (pretty deep in it) - definitely a 30 or 40 plus for most players, maybe not the tryhards or those that just run past. 100% not possible on Siptah.
Pray on the Island - probably 15-20, maybe more, the bear on that island can be tough. Also 100% not possible on Siptah.
So we have a range of crappy low XP stuff that does work for lowbie characters, as well as high level endgame stuff.
If that trend continues, then they absolutely lied, and instead are trying to force players who want the battle pass content to level grind and push themselves into the endgame.
Doesn’t even take into account when challenges are going to be done on Siptah, for players who don’t play on Siptah.
My question is this I own both siptah and conan maps do I have to purchase 2 battle packs or will 1 work for both maps also same question for the bazzar
