Vitality 3 seems useless now imo
40 vit and 40 str. The leftover in enc and grit. Agility depending on your armor

40 vit, 10 str, 30 grit, 20 agi, rest in enc
bedroll hidden and nearby, hidden chest with you bomb mats. 8 bombs, pull bracelet, rinse repeat.
Sadly, this is the best pvp build…as Rolling-Spear has killed any fun way of melee,so might as well just troll bomb. They might kill you every once in a while. Even then, your bombs can’t be picked up, so you just have to get close enough to set them off. Eventually they will grow tired and just let it happen, realizing you aren’t going to partake in their cheesy meta game.

Yep, but it can cost some steel, as you may need a sand mask on some occasions. it just depends how fast you are at placing and setting off the bombs tbh.
Its not like they can poke a naked running around not engaging them. Hell just walking around gives everyone fits trying to target for a pokey pokey.
Also, if you have 10 man clan doing this, that’s 80 bombs every @2-3 minutes being laid on them.
Bubble bases, well that is another story. At that point you just hit all the FOB’s to be as trollish as possible.
That’s so low level. Use cheap bow + explosiove arrows. Place bombs in fire. Do Explosion chains.
Also when they chase, bait them into attack, place bomb so they hit it and roll. Finish him off by placing another one into the fire.
Remember: if they are experienced players, they will dodge your bombs by rolling.
I am talking about less effort. Run, place 8 bombs at wall, ignite, pull bracelet. Over and over and over. There is no punishment for dying, and i don’t need to kill them, just pester and frustrate them until they realize, i am not fighting with broken melee. or better yet, i am fighting with broken raid mechanics against broken melee. Cheese Exiles. Took me forever to put aside what i wanted the game to be combat and raid wise, and just play a less stressed, cheesy way.
Do you realise you are spending twice as much time collecting resources and they just repair and rebuild your damage in no time? But I guess everyone can enjoy CE in their own way

not really. i don’t have to gather for weapons, armor, even minimal building. Just a hardened steel skinner and acheronian pick (more consistant resource when gorilla warfare is your tactic is hardened steel), tannery, fire bowl cauldron. I am not there to squat and live forever. I am there to play the game. At some point, i can just log in during raid time, and they will be looking over their shoulder, while i just move my character every 5 minutes, and eat and drink as needed while i watch tv. If there is going to continue to be cheese in the game (PVP wise especially), then why not cheese it as easy as possible.
See you are thinking of killing me (and getting my kit). I am thinking of annoying you (with no kits to loot). For you killing me is some badge. For me, just surviving and blowing crap up is fun.
Especially if I have weakened parts of the wall when they aren’t around base, waiting to actually destroy all at once. 1 bomb here, 1 bomb there, and walls just crumble.
Until they fix the spear rollers, and the cheesy melee to be more proper test of valor and skill, i will troll bomb.
You need to pickle them a little, first. If you run in with a low-level busted to maybe three hits left Atlantean Sword, you can often lull them into the bombs. Stone daggers are easy to craft on the run, and a 1-hand sword can let you lunge out of danger. Taking the fight to the bullies is actually fun again, thanks to WhatMightHaveBeen. Putting a bowling-pin set of three bombs on roofs or ramps also causes many (un)intended lols.
What you’re running is a utility build, and people need to know that it’s a good way to exist on a server. One of the biggest problems people have with taking on the game is understanding the specs. As long as you’re willing to respec a lot, you’ll do great, I says.

I mentioned playing on 1588 the other day, so out of curiosity I went back in as an Alt. The difficulty with this is, as many players know, not understanding where to put points. Let’s say you’re playing on a relaxed server, you can kind of dawdle and learn about attributes and values. When I returned to this server, I was thrust into instant decisiveness. The moment I was pursued by five attackers with spears, each one re-equipping it, a red swirl appearing above his head – I took the nestea plunge off the spillway and suicided halfway down. The quest was then for 40 vites.
Personally I like the fact that you have to unequip and re-equip a healing item after taking damage. It makes it a bit parasitic, especially when I’ve bled a couple duders who seemed to be relying on 30 vites and toggling the lifeblood.
Fence foundation stacking + spam is Common on PvP Servers. Deserters Gutter for example. You’ll need 400 bombs onwards just to get to see the hanging base
Tested the fence foundations…they seem nice, but they act like foundations. All i have to do is take the bottom out, and the ones above come tumbling down. Unless there was a bug, they also don’t support ceilings. Tried on my private gportal test build. that is where i test out all build types.
And again, with the cheese factor of people sitting on massive amounts of hoarded mats to grief new players on the server (whtether grinded or duped tbh), means i am only now showing up on officials just to annoy dbags (not sayaing you are one, or all Alphas are dbags. The dbags will expose themselves rather quickly if you power grind to lvl 60, lol).
If i want to build huge PVE castle, i will go to my private server and do it for admin raid bases.
Remember, in a sandbox, everyone determines their fun. Exploiters exploit. Griefers grief, and trollers troll. Fighters are left swinging wildly at walking nakeds. I personally think it is sad that the game is weighted to hoarding, exploiting,griefing, and trolling (even on pve, griefing and trolling are easier than actually playing within a community). Hence my name WMHB. the game had an opportunity to be different than other online pvp, but in the end it is balanced for non competive (ie, new players have to give up real life just to not be offline raided) game play like so many others.
And for the troll bomber set up here is all you need

Firebowl Cauldron
Steel picks and skinners (lootable from asagarth and steel to repair as well)
looted weapons to kill hyenas, gators, and occasional boss shaleback for demon blood.
then just find a safe spot, build a 4x4 druing non raid, craft your mats, go full enc, take all your stuff, find a safe place to log off. then use any bombs you make when you feel like it.
Only thing one needs is the will powere, as there is no counter base to raid, and no mats for them to loot.
