I have made many tests with theses heavy armors sets :
Cimmerian Steel
Black Knight
Chieftain
Frost Giants
Redeemed Legion
Voidforged Dragon
Aspect of the Wolf and Bracers of the Serpent
(T4 armorer Armor + Bulked Plating)
Going full strengh or full vitality is not the way.
Full strengh +27, the thrall has less vitality and can be killed faster if locked in a corner or facing too many opponents.
Full vitality +13, the thrall has less strengh so the fight is longer and it take more damage.
The best is a mix strengh + vitality and max armor
Here is the result :
Aspect of the Wolf +8 strengh
Redeemed Legion Pauldron +4 strengh
Voidforged Dragon Gauntlets +3 vitality
Cimmerian Steel Tasset +2 vitality
Voidforged Dragon Boots +2 vitality
+12 strengh, +7 vitality, 1302 armor.
For me it depends:
if my slave has a lot of points in STR, I give them VIT and AGI armors.
If it is healthier than strong, I dress it up for extra STR.
But now you showed it, if I will have a slave that is balanced in attributes, I dress it up like this!
How do you maintain the food poisoning @Barnes? Do you just manually force feed the thrall every minute or two? Also, Wiki suggests that the Goblinoid helm may be bugged and not providing extra damage, do you notice extra damage when your thrall has food poisoning?
I was on an old server cleaning some things up when I saw people in chat talking about its raw killing power. Since @Selene01 does pretty well on PvP I was hoping they would show me if it works.
I have only one heavy armor for my berserker because I switch server often
This one is good because very versatile to level up the thrall and the end for high STR or VIT on the perks.
No for the Goblinoid Helm because you can not maintain food poisoning.
The feroxic mace is slower than the feroxic 2H sword, so not better.
There are surely other combinations, but this gear for fighter thralls is very good
I’ve just been interacting with them and pressing the Use button. But it’s only peripheral data, as this technique is new to me. I’m quite OK with regular, mechanical interactions by now.
