Recently I made a post about switching to non-legendary strength weapons and received a lot of useful feedback. I thought I’d start a post for armor as well. Now that you can’t repair legendary armor, I’d rather use the best non-legendary and be able to repair it. What are some of the best non-legendary armors?

Silent Legion/Dragonbone armors
Since bonus stamina is not important anymore, just go for bonus HP or damage.
You can swap out the pants with Darfari or Zingaran if you go light.

I enjoy the battle pass Stygian Infantry armor at the moment. Adds a health and stamina buff.
This answer is going to be entirely subjective to your playstyle and if it’s for pvp/pve/gathering.

Depends on my build but I switch between Redeemed Silent Legion for strength builds and SL medium with different gloves ( partial to the Turanian bandit at this time or drowned gloves if on Siptah. NOTE: Gloves of Jhil isn’t as cool as it once was, IMO, and so I stopped putting it as standard equipment)
It should also be said that I prefer a well rounded build and not one focus.

Solo PVE-C strength build. Right now I’m using the Two-handed Acheronian Sword for mobs, Ancient Lemurian Axe with Nemedian Shield, Executioner’s Hood, Epic Vanir Heavy Armor. Strength 20, Agility 0, Vitality 20, Authority 10, Grit 10, and Expertise 0.

It really depends on your build and your playstyle…
I personally play full Agility and I dodge most thing so I don’t need high armor.
→ Ranger Armorset (unlocked via Dungeon Delver Journey) + Silent Legion Medium Pauldron for a bit more protection.
↳ With a T4, this give me a total of 392 Armor = 43% dmg reduction, but the important part is +40% Agility Weapon Damage and +28 Stamina.
If you’re playing Authority (+Agility), you pick the Master Skelos Cultist Armorset because it gives you a ton of follower damage.
If you prefer playing Strength Weapons, you have plenty of choices depending on whether you want light medium or heavy armor, but for maxium damage you pick Redeemed Legion Helmet, Voidforged Dragon Ribs (you have other options that aren’t heavy here), Silent Legion Medium Gauntlets, and then any pieces that give you +5% Strength (with a T4) on Pants and Boots.
Of course I’m only talking about Exiled Lands, because on Siptah you get a few more options like the Black Knight Tasset giving +8% Strength with T4, while on Exiled Lands you can only get +5% afaik.
