Best Tool for Demon Blood?

I’m wanting to make some map rooms at my base and at some obelisks in single player mode. I get Ichor pretty easily with Unappetizing Fish from the Fish Traps I have around my base, and Stone is easy to get.
I know what I need to kill to get Demon Blood, but what would be the best tool to obtain it?
