Best way to farm violatile glands?

So I been surfing the net and saw that you can get glands from the iguanas and red imps. I get them from the red imps but none from the iguanas. What’s up with that and who can share the best way to farm them?

I need lot to make demon fire orbs…

I had a chest full of glands from purges.

The orange salamander lizards in the jungle and along the river north of the Sinkhole drop glands pretty consistently IME. Dragons will also drop them, though those are obviously slower to kill.

Using a Skinning Knife on Dragons seems to yield the best results.

I got tons by killing and harvesting the red dragon mother in unnamed city.

I seem to get a ton more from the red imps using a sickle. Hope this helps:)

I’ve never been able to get any off the iguanas, and I was just with a buddy last night and we were killing a whole bunch and neither of us got any. I always get them from red imps but those are rare.

i havent found a better way than harvesting dragons in unnamed city with survival 30… especially red mother

Personally, I almost find dragonpowder easier to farm just because volatile glands drop so inconsistently.

Hey mate, I would say red imps are the best choice for farming glands. I use a star metal pick and get about 60-80 glands each run. By the way red imps are guaranteed to give you glands each kill unlike the red lizards. Hope this helps👍🏼

Tested all these options out. Still didn’t get any from the iguanas using various tools. However get the biggest results from red dragon mother. Plus the xp for my thrall wasn’t too bad neither
