This is a beautiful game, but when it comes to animations there is a lot of work to do. Take the idle animation for example… there is only one, its almost static with no life. Same goes for thralls, once you start placing thralls in your base they feel like terracotta warriors! Static and boring…
It would be GREAT if they (and the player) had more idle animations (and that you could actually choose if they keep their weapons away or at hand) and also allow us to assign our thralls into poses as we unlock, like arms folding, sleeping, dances, etc… We should also be able to assign them to chairs.
The game would feel a lot different if thralls had personality, having random speech when we pass by them, talking to other thralls, dusting out weapons, telling stories about their lives, having mini quests about itens or heirloons we could search for. Imagine that in Sepermeru, New Asagarth, villages, in our bases, all full of life (literally).
This game has the potential to become the greatest game of all time, becoming more popular than Skyrim, but I bet we will only see what we have and some more being less buggy, leading our starvation for the next that one day will delivery what we want.
Conan Exiles is the type of game I’ve always dreamed, but unfortunately, with poor development, it will get old fast, and I’ll just stop logging in to refresh the decay to play something that will pleases me more.
You can put the weapons in their hand.
Other than that I feel the same. I would like poses for thralls to add a little life to our builds. I would also like to stop the dancers endless cycle. I’m fine with the corruption effects not working during a different pose. It just needs an off switch. If that isn’t possible let me store them in a chest like other worker thralls.
