Let’s please just focus on being excellent to one another. I’ve seen a lot of people hurt by the rules, and @CodeMage has been a longtime fighter on their behalf.

To elaborate a bit on that note: I’ve seen players being hurt by the rules and the way they’re enforced, which is why I want them changed, but I’ve also seen and lived through players being hurt by the lack of rules, which is why I don’t want them removed.
That’s why I will jump down the throat of people who stubbornly insist that claim abuse rules need to be removed, and doubly so when they back that up with absurd, fallacious arguments.

It is because you still tied in the past and dont want to progress again i will talk all games i have cited dont have the rules we have in conan and in most of it games they REMOVED the rules and it work GREAT theres no problems with land claiming or unjustified bans in the other games.

Sorry but they way you right I’m of the opinion you aren’t actually old enough to be playing Conan exiles. That would also explain why you fail to understand why we have rules.
ARK CoC Blocking access to important resources (ie. charge nodes, Extinction City Terminals, Orbital supply crates on Extinction, Teleporters, Dispatchers, or Mission Terminals and etc)
- Building at their base
- Blocking in other tribes dinos
- Blocking access in/out of a tribes base
Structure Spamming - placing structures down such as pipes or wires for the purpose of disrupting others gameplay is against our code of conduct.
You keep saying these games don’t have rules I keep finding. I recommend the next time you are about to post, google your facts first.

Just out of curiosity, have you played on official servers before Funcom introduced the rules? Because if you haven’t, then you have no idea what the past was like.
I’ve literally witnessed griefers on PVE servers do the following:
- wall in people’s bases
- wall off all of the new character spawns
- wall off dungeons
- completely pave over Shattered Springs or Godsclaw Passage
- use foundation spam to block someone from building or extending their base
These are some of the reasons why the rules were established in the first place. Can you point me to Conan Exiles patch notes that show how Funcom implemented some in-game mechanics that will protect people from the griefers in case those rules are removed? If not, then your argument boils down to “fuсk you, I prefer games that don’t care about griefing”.

That is why I went to private servers. Publics were just a troll nightmare.

Some of these still occur to some degree or other (save dungeons unless you want to wall off a grid+ I suppose?) but are certainly dealt with much more swiftly, sometimes?
But I mean really, we know just how swiftly and all encompassing it can be

I still have 2 clans 1 in pve with 4 players because they dont have ps5 to move to ark and another one in pvp where we have 11 players i log in conan just in weekend to renew bases and sometimes in pvp to help friends i remember very good how some players walled the desert to dont let new players get in the map or when some griefers or losers in pvp spammed the brimstone lake with foundations but when i talk about removing rules i m no talking about it rules im talking about the stupid rules like blocking path where you CAN pass climbing or using spells or taking another way the rules about bridges ways and map marks i stated it many times but you are ignorant and blinded to read it.
and yeah one new player dont deserver a ban because one idiot want to be a completionist in the official servers did you have counted how many map marks EL have? How many places one guy can be banned for building because of nothing?

I know these discussions can get pretty heated, been there, done that, even against both Code and Deac (remember guys? XD).
So I agree with Code’s arguments against what you’re saying and unfortunately you keep moving the goal posts. I don’t even think it is intentional but no one can read your mind or necessarily read in between the lines of what you’re saying either.
Additionally, comparing the game to those others is problematic but they do have similar ways of addressing behaviors. We all know CE does it differently. Your feedback and criticism about it is warranted.
All of us have good intentions here, let’s stop throwing the proverbial shit.

Why is so hard for you read and understand about what rules im talking?
THERES NO RULES IN ARK RUST DAYZ OR THE OTHERS GAMES I HAVE CITED ABOUT BRIDGES WAYS BLOCKING PATH WHERE YOU CAN PASS OR BUILDING IN MAPMARKS.
Sometimes i fell i am talking with kids have 7 years 
I bought it the day it went on sale so i guess you were in some private alpha or some crap.

That’s very true. But I have a question, how many of these completionists are PvP players? That’s where I can easily see the disagreement going on here
You’re viewing this from a PvE side, and others are seeing if from a PvP side. They are not the same, not equal, and that’s precisely why we need different rules. Don’t block on PvE where you find the completionists, PvP is exactly that PvP. Build, raid and kill.
Theres nothing in the ark rust dayz rules about bridges , ways blocking PATHS or building in land marks

Yes, I remember having heated discussions with you on the very topic of the rules. 
A couple of differences spring to mind, though. One is that I don’t remember either you or me hurling insults at each other, like @AndersonKain likes to do every time people disagree with him. Another is that we both presented our arguments and we both accepted those that we found valid, rather than rejecting everything just because the other “side” said it.
To be honest, sometimes I miss things that are written explicitly, just because of the way they’re written. For example, in this discussion, it seems like @AndersonKain tried to clarify which rules he was talking about specifically, quite early in the discussion:
Thing is, I didn’t really understand that he was trying to say that he was only against a specific, narrow subset of the rules, because of the way he wrote it.
I don’t mean to be rude, but it’s hard to parse someone’s meaning when it’s written like a jumbled, semi-coherent word salad. I understand that there’s a language barrier in the way and not everyone can write with the same proficiency, but by the same token, those who have that limitation should be aware of it enough to, at the very least, avoid hurling insults at those they argue with.
So yeah, my bad for not understanding that aspect of what he was saying, and I apologize for that, but that still doesn’t excuse the immature abuse he habitually engages in.

People not agreeing with you does not mean they are ignoring you or don’t understand you, they just don’t agree, why is that so hard for you to understand?
These are the Conan exiles ToC rules you agree to. If you can’t play with in them go single player, go private, go play one of these games you keep saying are so much better then Conan yet don’t seem to be very active in with the amount of time you spend here.
