This one understands.
You don’t remember all the times in Conan lore when he and other great warriors used ieds as their primary tools to defeat their enemies.
You get a Conan game, expecting to see steel flashing and blood spraying. You wanted to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.
But unless you master lag switching, crushing your enemies is really not an option.
Seeing them driven before you? No no no, they will just slip their bracelet and bloodport to their backup bedroll next to a secret stash of explosives and soldier slaves.
And the Lamentations are only available via the Black Lotus Bazaar, even if you did feel inclined to pay extra for that emote, it’s not always available and you can’t force the female thralls of a defeated enemy to lament.
So many missed opportunities.
But the warfare is so egregious. It’s just all ieds.
Steel isn’t strong boy, bombs are stronger! Look at your character sheet, your strength, your vitality, for what? Now look at an explosive jar, that one, in your inventory. That is strength, that is power boy.
If you would defeat your enemies, you must understand the riddle of explosives.
This is, after all, a Conan game.
