Official server, online.
After logging in a couple days and looking at my build, building pieces have disappeared. Just random pieces in the middle of my build. It shows decayed in the log but why just random pieces in the middle of my floor? I’m don’t want to put anything on tiles because I have lost crafting stations and chests already.

We can see that you mentioned you don’t want to put anything on tiles. In this case we highly suggest you to use foundation pieces since this will assist in your building and decay timers.
