Certainly the most incredible game I’ve ever played in my life. However, on all official servers, there are those who abuse teleportation and dungeon locations, blocking passages and thus privatizing certain areas that are fundamental to our movement around the map.
On behalf of all the players, who like Conan Exiles like me, I come to ask that they somehow ban buildings in places like obelisks, cellars and sources of natural resources. Otherwise, me and the vast majority of players, we will abandon the game.
Don’t think that’s entirely fair. I’ve tried out servers where all brimstone locations are walled off and obelisks too. When you show up new, naked & afraid, it turns out that sometimes you can’t just “do something different.” I’ve played for a long time and have yet to see anybody in starting in rags rise up against extreme situations like that successfully. One obelisk or key location?? Sure. It’s been my experience that groups with that kind of power don’t stop there. We certainly didn’t.
You could play on private, moderated servers. When I started this game, I read up on it and saw the awful potential issues of official servers, and now I only play where that won’t happen.
There is a few locations (caves) with brimstone that can’t be blocked, don’t have much but if the lake is claimed get what you need from the cave and destroy the land claim. It’s a crappy thing to do on servers but at the same time every war in history people try to keep resources out of enemy hands. Heck the Christian’s burnt most of the crops and food in the middle east and caused a massive famine just to starve the Muslims out of Jerusalem. I’d say Yog would condone blocking brimstone at very least
