Bug Description:
Since 2018 Steam has included a software called “Proton” which allows Linux users to run Windows games. This largely works without problems on Conan Exiles except for connecting to Funcom Live Services and I can play the game without much further issue.
Sometimes connecting goes fine but most often I get stuck at this connection screen and if it doesn’t succeed I just wait for a long time and the game shuts itself down. I’ve tried redisabling battleye, enabling upnp on my router’s firewall, disabling my own firewall or just quitting and relaunching the game until it works.
The only method which seems to work is relaunching the game. I know Linux/Proton isn’t fully supported by Funcom but it is fully supported by steam, and the game runs really well in Proton except for this rather trivial issue.
Bug Reproduction:
Make a Linux VM running Archlinux and try to launch the game and connect to Funcom Live Services.
