I am at level 10. I have 16 available Knowledge Points. Why can’t I unlock Apprentice Mason training?
First and obvious question: are you using any mods? Outdated mods sometimes break the game in various innovative ways.
Next question: is the Apprentice Mason feat on a yellow or red background in your feats list? Red would mean you’re missing some prerequisites (which to my knowledge there should be none for that feat).
Also, sometimes I’ve clicked the Learn button but nothing happens, but it either unlocks the feat, or at least lets me learn it, after restarting the game. Have you tried that?
No mods. The feat background is green. There are no requirements. I have restarted the game several times and even rebooted my computer. The Unlock button is greyed out and disabled. I’d upload a screenshot, but as a newbie to this forum, I cannot.
If the background is green, that means you already know it.
As Tephra pointed out, you learned the recipe. Are you trying to handcraft the building pieces? In 3.0 the building system was changed to require the Construction Hammer to build. Try putting that on your hotbar and then select it as your active tool. Then you can build from there with raw materials in your inventory.
I needed to craft the construction hammer. That solved it. Thanks guys!
