Can't get to the Main Menu

Performance

For the last couple of days I have been unable to load up the main menu. It will play the cinematic and then continue to load leaving a black screen. This will go on for minutes. Today it has gone on for over an hour. Please help as I really want to get back to my online server

Are you using mods?

And how many? Mods can severly increase loading time.

I have over 20, but it’s never had this kind of issue before now

You can try disabling the intros to see if this helps. You will still see black screen while loading but maybe it helps you not getting stuck in it.

Go to: \Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Config
open "DefaultGame.ini and set:

[/script/movieplayer.movieplayersettings]
-StartupMovies=StartupUE4
-StartupMovies=StartupNvidia
-StartupMovies=CinematicIntroV2
