Can someone like sum up or simplify all this? Because this kind of thing happens in Diablo and I haven’t figured out why yet neither has the people I played with. Certain people can connect and certain people can’t and I don’t know. I know Diablo is a different game and stuff but same rule of thumb right same stuff happens maybe same answer.

So far, from what I can surmise, it’s looking like it might be less of a game issue and more of a service provider issue.

To be fair, our internet situation is less than ideal at the moment and we are hoping to swap providers here in the next couple months because we have had connection issues in general with our current service. I already had a hunch it may be related to this but wanted to exhaust the other possible avenues because this seemed to be a problem in this game for more than just me and I thought maybe other solutions could solve our issues.

Oh okay. My buddy uses Patriot mobile well at least for his cell phone and Itheyve been pretty good with him considering they are a very small company with very limited resources. At least they keep their integrity and not like AT&t and all the other places. I use Patriot mobile too. All the others get into non-necessary business garbage anti-god anti-American garbage that we don’t want any part of which shows they have bad business integrity as well. That’s like us Americans going over there in China and trying to make an anti-china business. Yes I know they do it here but doesn’t mean that we should do the same. Anyway you get the point but thank you. He has his people take care of a bunch of the minor stuff so he’ll have to explain to me what I need to do on my end. But hey thank you I appreciate it

Alright, it appears it’s DEFINITELY something to do with our internet and not an issue with two consoles in the same household - and thanks Bambere for checking that out for us. We will be looking to see if we can change providers ASAP in order to take advantage of our friend’s server rental.

I am no network expert and also on Playstation.
But that sounds for me that it could be a nat issue. It depends on how your local and/or provider network works.

On Xbox you should have somewhere an option for nat type in your network settings too. Maybe a different setting could solve your problem here. But don’t ask me which one  I would need to research the different types to explain them. Just play around with the different types on both consoles

Yeah, we can’t adjust our NAT to open with the service we have and the number of devices connected in our house. We have definitely tried. I think that’s probably our biggest issue and why we are already looking at new internet providers
