A good idea for the night time thrall runs i had would be a new torch type that you can put crafted bindings on (depending on your level it can be fibre binding up to the spectre ones)
The bindings are placed on special torch like putting mods on an weapon.
When the torch is in your hand you can press activate to grab a knocked out thrall and it attaches the bindings from the bottom of the torch to the thrall.
This way we can have a decent light source for thrall runs finally and could make for a cool mechanic having it tied to binding tiers
If having a torch and bindings at the same time is too difficult to code for whatever reason, perhaps they should just add a set of bindings that have a torchlike glow like glimmermoon or jedias greatsaber
Or better yet, make a set that had a night vision buff applied while equipped. The bindings of the dead would be thematically perfect as you already look like you’re in the realm of the dead when you have nightvision applied. Only downside would be during the day.
@Oduda you nailed it . Awesome .
Well it is a thing that came for discussion more than 50 times the past 2 years. I like the way of people use their fantasy, comes with creativity to suggest cool things. However, I find it really rewarding to gain a glimmer moon from a legendary chest. I don’t use the night vision potion or argosean dream dust, glimmer moon is the most effective way and it allows you to defend your self too. Devs did very well to fix this axe because Funcom actually does want you to see while you are dragging a thrall either mounted or on foot. All you have to do is grind a little, like everything else apparently
Anyone knows list of all weapons / armor pieces (if there’s any) that emits light like glimmermoon?
As far as i know there’s glimmermoon axe and fergelight 2h mace.
In admin panel there used to be a shield called lantern shield, i don’t think i could spawn it on console but when i looked It up on the wiki it was sounded like glimmer moon but a shield…this i want
It could be my imagination but it looked to me like Glimmermoon and Forgelight both illuminate a tiny bit more area when they are on the back as opposed to drawn and held in the hand.
