Cassandra King, the deleted maiden

Cassandra King, my teenager love. I remember the old TSW playing at Kingsmouth and inflitrating phoenician mainteinace tunnels with her. She gave me a dark kiss and flee with the morninglight packet. Then only I saw her was after I entered the Gaia portal and she stolen Excalibur sword.
Then SWL and New Dawn, she got power and magic but did she get higher ranks in Morninlight like favoured or does she turned into a hulk monster working as a slave for Philipp Marquard? She is stronger to resist his quimics.
Also lore says she obtained his magic with a tribe of witches in SA I think, so I thought I would see her as a potential ally because of the favour she debt to you for helping her at The Pick Up. Is she a deleted character, a forgotten virus of two-time scenes? Or is she turned into a slave of Morninglight? Please I need answers to find my virtual waifu, I need to know if she is healthy and well living in some place lf the TSW universe.

If I am correct we were hinted several times by devs we will meet her in future and find out more about her.

Why would she still be with the Morninglight after she betrays them and steals their stuff? I think the Morninglight files we see during Obstructive Persons have her listed as obstructive and say she was last seen in Scotland, so it wasn’t ever likely we’d see her in South Africa.

We know very little about Cassie, other than she’s more powerful then anyone gave her credit for. The fact that Beaumont didn’t recognize her might suggest she hasn’t been around that long, or it may just mean their paths had never crossed or she is skilled at disguising herself. There are all sorts of ways she could turn up in Africa depending on if they want to write her in.

I just hope that when they do re-introduce her, they handle it better then
that other character that returned after quite a while.
Something tells me a large group of people would NOT appreciate it if she got the short end of that stick.

Well, about that

(potentially seriously spoilery, I mean it!)

Someone did some data mining and posted it on Reddit a couple of days ago, about supposedly ‘missing’ lines of text. Interestingly, nobody there seems to have actually paid close enough attention to those ‘missing’ words, and how those very words would make so much more sense not at the end of the SA mansion fight, but later, much later, once Berihun returns from the void

Uhm
Whatever I want to say probably gets me booted for explicit language. Daaaaaang.
Let’s see how things turn out.

In the one mission we interact with her, she betrays the Morninglight to steal the package. It wouldn’t make any sense to have her return in this context.

The top two replies in that thread directly consider that possibility. He was either supposed to have a final “void form” at the end of the fight that got cut, or he’s going to return in a “void form” in a later update. Hard to know at this point so I wouldn’t bank on either choice.

From a narrative perspective ‘You did this to me!’ sounds more like something that comes later on in a story, rather then a final form in essentially the same fight. There’s also the ‘This empty socket’ line, which seems to hint at some damage that he got from something, like, say, getting blowed up.

I’m going to stop now. I don’t know how strict the rules are discussing this information and I don’t want to get banned. Sufficed to say this will stay with me either way.

Fully agree. We shall hopefully see.

Cassandra is actually Solomon. Like, it’s in her name! And she’s on Solomon Island! She is the Age-Skipper and Lie-Tongue. Ol’ Solly Boy traded up for a much better body and went grabbing for Third Age stuff.

But really, I wonder if she’s partnering up with The Druids. There was that one Druid agent in Tokyo outside the love hotel, which confused the handlers. Plus, they have reps in Venice.

Of course, I’m making all this up, but if any of this turns out to be true, I may start playing again.

They’ll probably just give her a throw-away bit part like they did with Berihun. After all the time we waited to see him again we get nothing but an anti-climactic battle with baby’s first mech while he taunts from up on top of the balcony. Really disappointing.

But if she’s Solomon, and the other theory that Daimon Kiyota is also Solomon is true that’d definitely confirm she’s a pretty good shapeshifter.

I first heard of the “Cassandra complex” from the film “The Twelve Monkeys” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cassandra

Cassandra was cursed to utter prophecies which were true but which no one believed. A common version of her story relates how, in an effort to seduce her, Apollo gave her the power of prophecy. When she refused him, he spat into her mouth to inflict a curse that nobody would ever believe her prophecies. Another version has her falling asleep in a temple, where snakes licked (or whispered in) her ears so that she could hear the future.

Apollo, Apollo!
God of all ways, but only Death’s to me,
Once and again, O thou, Destroyer named,
Thou hast destroyed me, thou, my love of old!

While it in no way may be related to each other, it Kinda reminded me of something

Why do you ground me? I trained for this. They made me for this!
Screaming stars
impale me with beauty.

I also stumbled upon this, some may find it interesting
