I sent it in private msg that clarify the rules about building, about the building limit, I want to know exactly how many foundation I can lay on the ground or how many blocks wide and long I can build, obviously, I’m talking about a place where I don’t make any kind of blockage, because I didn’t see anything specific in the rules, if there is this in the rules, show me, because I don’t speak English and maybe it didn’t translate correctly.
Well I haven’t seen any nest in the game which contained more than 4 or 5 eggs at the most. So I would not lay more than 5 eggs. I hope this answers your question.
I don’t know why the damn translator translated the word foundation for the word eggs, however, if you had read the entire text and not just a small part, you would have realized that it was just a mistake.
The people who run this game are not interested in making rules, they are more focused on banning people who get reported by others. If you can figure this out please let me know, because I cannot.
I think this is a huge flaw of this game, create a rule where you need to rely on “common sense” they need to be specific in the build limit or else they will lose the few players that still exist, another issue was the ribbon of respect from the leaders in not responding to the private message sent to them while we players are here trying to solve our problems, very thank you very much to you for participating in this topic.
Really what they are doing by banning players for rules that don’t exist, it’s a real request for legal proceedings, they can only apply a punishment within what is specific in the rules, we players need to unite when we are unfairly punished, thank you for coming to participate in this thread.
Good on you.
I made a lot of friends on my server recently, who saw that I had left. They asked why and I told them mi corazón es pesado para mis amigos. This is the best I could do with the Spanish I possess. They have since left as well, I believe there is more unity than you think.
Yeah, as the dissemination of ToS clarification has gone, one of the major conclusions is that there is no size limit (within reasonability). They are not considering size or number of blocks, when making these judgement calls - according to them directly. It’s more about the “intent and purpose” of the structure being examined. If for some (unknown to us) reason they consider a structure or parts of a structure, to have no “good” (by their definition) purpose or to actually have a purpose contrary to the ToS (like walling off resources or players) then you are flagged for a wipe and a possible ban.
They have explicitly stated that they do NOT intend to do that.
Yup, this is the part that irks me most. And even though they may not have told us about it yet, they may have already revised their solution agenda to drastically reduce the number of bans they hand out for these kinds of violations. We don’t actually know because no one is communicating with us about it. But the number of people coming here in the past two or three weeks about being banned is lower than last month, and there was even one fellow who claimed his base was only partially wiped and yet did not receive a full suspension or ban.
So maybe, just maybe they got the message that banning people should be reserved for the most egregious cheaters and stubborn repeat violators - as it is with every other online game and service on the planet?
They did it too little, too late. My server was hitting in the 250 Rank at BM, now it’s at 631 and dropping. People are worried, servers are being wiped out with the bombs, and a scarce few are making it over to PvE-C. Meanwhile I’m trying to keep people going with the hopes that one day (soon) they’ll see me playing on TestLive.
Yeah… what’s a word that means the most out of touch a person can possibly be?
That word whatever it is, it applies to whoever it was who thought it a good idea to ban and suspend accounts for building violations. Gah!!!
Thanks for participating in this thread, I understand your explanation about the rules, but this is a serious mistake on the part of Fun with no specific criteria, you know what that looks like? This type as a rule it seems to be made to ban only who they want to ban, instead of banning who really needs to be banned, not to mention that today I received a video of bomb duplication, I thought it was ridiculous this game glitch, while they are banning players for making land claims around the base to avoid a divine attack, cheaters are there duplicating bombs, will they Will they ban bomb duplicators? Will they delete these duplicate bombs?
I don’t know if I understood your message very well, I speak Portuguese and use Google translator, but I think it refers to few people playing, I don’t know what their platform is, I play on PS, and currently they are less than a thousand players online simultaneously, that’s a very low number of players
My experience was with South American players, specifically from Mexico and other places in Central America. We had quite a flood of new players, and they were great. I said “my heart is heavy for my friends.” I mean heavy for the people on other servers and players I know here who have been banished, and shamed. There should be no stigma in this.
At the end of the day for any server that you play in, there is a level of trust you have in the admin to do the right thing. If you do not trust the admin, why are you playing on their server(s)? Doesn’t matter if it’s private or official.
And is there a specific administrator for each server? Is there any way I can find out who the administrator is? Because I have an internet connection problem called “route problem” where the internet cannot find the server address, to solve this problem I need Fun com to inform the server address so I can forward this address to the company, but I never got the server address, they don’t want to help solve this problem, so do they give the name of an official server administrator?? I believe that if so, the admin name should already be in the login menu. As well as the server address should also be there given that this is the only company that has this type of problem. ARK and Day-z have no routing issues.
Funcom uses a “dispatch service” called ZenDesk. The ticket is then distributed to Available Agents, and oftentimes, a specific Admin. There are at least three Admins that I know of, and probably more.
I have the ZenDesk information from having run several deployments of it. As for Admin Info, there is no inside information here, only what I’ve gleaned through observation and having participated in Admin raids (ride-alongs ) vs glitchers and exploiters.
