This is how all “complete editions” work for everything. Every publisher on steam with every “complete works” only gives you what they have released to that point.

You’re talking about a series of different games, how you can see that as the same is beyond my imagination.
If I buy a complete edition of a game, I expect it to have everything included in the cost. Unless it says “does not include future DLC”, but then I would not see it as a complete edition and they should call it something else.
Imagine buying a complete house with no kitchen or electricity and the company are just like “oh those parts gets built later, but your house included everything we had built at that point, so yeah, it’s complete. The people who buy the complete house later will have kitchen and electricity included at the same price as you paid, but you have to pay extra”

@Tselem You are not missing anything in your mindset, that’s a normal thing. Complete means complete, no exceptions. I’ve bought so many complete editions yet i haven’t seen something like this. Even Ark did better (Founder’s and explorers edition) and Wildcard is, well waste of words. Simply said garbage. (yes i’m talking about that moment they said that extinction will be last expansion thus it will mean the end of the development and releasing the explorers edition - Yet they announced another season pass with two new dlcs just to make more money, but they atleast didn’t call it complete edition.) What Funcom did is just a cash grab. You better don’t mind those people defending every part of the game, or anything else, since they know everything better and are sitting most of their time behind pc and playing that game or just being on it’s forum. - Those people are just defending the game, that’s allright. I mean i would defend something i like too, but in normal way, not being rude and act like idiot to someone who said their opinion. Is this normal thing to hide ability to ride rhinos behind a paywall? I get it, pay for new map. But hide riding an old animal which is from base game as a paid dlc? Lmao. It’s none of your business, but i will state the facts just for the giggles, it’s from my and my girlfriends saved money, she is pampering me with games - So basically i bought it. And since someone paid for the complete edition, doesn’t matter who it was, me or my dog, someone paid for the complete edition.

And about Siptah being EA, yeah i heard bad things about the map right now, so i will gladly wait for them to do their work and support them right after it’s done. Only thing i want from that DLC is the Rhino riding ability. I mean it’s sad you can’t craft it. I still remember these times when they said " mounts cannot be done, because of movements problems" or what it was, haha. .

@Taemien It’s maybe a Steam issue, but it’s funcoms game and this section is General Discussion so i don’t see a single problem with that - also mods could have closed/deleted this topic, but they didn’t. So really not a problem at all.
You can talk about it sure. But don’t expect any results from it.
All Funcom can do is pull Conan from Steam, halt sales and bundles, or let it go as normal. I’ll wager they keep doing the latter rather than any of the formers. Its not ‘maybe’ a Steam issue, Steam is the retailer offering the deal.
But since its very common for ‘complete’ editions of games to be complete up to that point (the bundle I bought for Everquest for example in 2002 that said ‘Includes All Expansions’ do not include its 27th expansion released in 2020) and not include future releases after being a common thing. I doubt you’ll see any headway.

Yep. Years ago, I bought a Babylon 5 Complete Edition boxed set that included the TV series, the related TV movies, the Crusade spin-off series, and the Legend of the Rangers.
Then a few years later they released a new Babylon 5 stuff, The Lost Tales, but I never got it for free just because I had bought what was labeled “Complete Edition” at the time of release. Maybe I should have?
Don’t particularly search for older players but it’s alot better than playing with the tween,s with everyone having tons of background noise. I have also met a couple pre teens playing that are more knowledgeable than I about the game. My guess mom and dad don’t screen there game purchases. Of course you can see alot worse on television.

I mean i was playing TESO with 62 years old man even tho only for a while, but still. He was really chill, really funny, good and kind man and probably one of the best people i have met since i started gaming. Also you know, i get along much better with elder people than pre/teens. And yeah, same guess - and also it’s fact that television is much worse nowadays.
