This is my feed back for the game. My thoughts, opinions of the game is what makes it feed back.
To the usual players who don’t like opinions that differ from their own, I don’t give a monkeys back side if you agree or disagree with what I say. You can say what you like in reply but I won’t be answering. This is not an invite to a discussion, I’m just sharing my thoughts.
The game is full of Bugs. Many go back years (eg rubber-banding at log in). Funcom know about these bugs. They have received thousands of bug reports.
Instead of making bug fixing a priority, Funcom chose to continue with game game development and fix the bugs piece meal. Ergo, the more new material was introduced the worse the bugs became. With each “Age of ” chapters, more new bugs were introduced than the old fixed.
The great “Age of Heroes” update was a joke. The LS feature was shown to be broken in the Beta testing yet it was still released, in it’s broken state Live. The feature was turned off (on official servers) so it could be fixed, but it was turned back on again still broken.
SIX months later it was finally turned off once again, with the promise it won’t be turned back on until it is fixed.
Do I believe that statement, well the jury is still out on that one.
The most annoying thing for me is Funcom’s lack of communication to their customers (players).
Many (and I mean many many) moons ago I worked for Woolworths (NZ) Ltd. Part of their staff training was customer satisfaction through communication.
Their training was “a satisfied customer tells no one, a dissatisfied tells the world”.
Woolworths preferred no one knew how good they were, versus the world being told how bad they were.
Mistakes happen in every business, but it is how the mistakes are handled that sorts out the wheat from the chaff. Funcom’s customer communication is abysmal.
Funcom is the worst retailer I have ever dealt with in my 68 years on this planet.
I’m not going to go on social media and say how bad Funcom is, but if some one ask me, I’m will tell them to look elsewhere.
Would I recommend anything associated with Funcom . . . . . . . ?
