My single player game is now unplayable due to the constant freezing/crashing. Is this across all platforms? Or is this just a PS4 issue? If FUNCOM is no longer supporting the PS4 they should say so. If I need to go buy a PS5 they should say so. Or fix this broken ass game.
Just had this issue logging on today on ps5. Either freezes on loadup screen or crashes. Single player or online same thing. Tried numerous times. Checked updates. Checked network. Redownloaded last cloud save. Nothing works.

Here’s an update. I deleted the game and re-installed it. It now seems to be crash and freeze free. at least for now. I have living settlements turned off. I don’t know if that matters. Be nice if FUNCOM would say “hey you might have to delete the game and re-install it to make it function”.

Yeah I thought of that as well. I had uninstalled and reinstalled and it loaded and played; then at next load attempt it froze again.
I haven’t played since testing it after the re-install. The game was crashing when teleporting using the sorcery teleporter, so I just tested it by teleporting a whole bunch of times with no crashes, so I declared victory and went on to sort out my modded Fallout 4 game that the other wizards of wonder broke.
just tried it again yeah, it’s the same freeze crash bs. I’ve got 872.8 GB of free space it’s the GAME. Maybe writing code isn’t their thing. Done with this dog poop of a game.
The game is freezing up so bad, I can’t even quit the game. It completely locks up my PS5 and I have to yank the power cord just to shut the damned game down. Does Funcom want people to stop playing this game, because it sure as hell looks like it.
It’s as if they don’t care or they have no idea how to fix it. Because they, (I’m Looking at You Denis Mr. Chief poop producer.) have not even acknowledged the problem. I PAID for a game that WORKS not this broken piece of shit.

Did you try rebuilding the database on the PS4?
It fixed the number of the crashes/frizzes on my PS4.
For a few days…
Then again, if I rebuild the database it works fine for a while
that’s the problem. nothing we can do fixes it. I just don’t play it anymore. issue solved.
The Official server 3505 PVE I was having constant issue on has now disappeared from the list completely
