Hello,
I’m experiencing some issues with co-op game : I can no longer connect in co-op with my friend, she can not join mine either, when she tries to join me in my game, a popup appears indicating: “Attempt to join the game” and nothing happens during 5 minutes.
This corresponds to when I changed my PC config a little over two weeks ago, before that, everything was working fine. My local server backup remained the same. I changed my motherboard and therefore my network card (maybe this is the cause).
My network card is: Intel Ethernet Controller I225-V
My motherboard is: MSI MAG Z590 Tomahawk Wifi
We are both using Windows 10 to the updated build 21H2. We also use a 2Gb/s fiber connection.
I have tried a lot of things already:
- Disabling the firewall and antivirus
- Port Forwarding (useless since my friend can join a game on another machine).
- My network drivers are up to date
- Running as administrator
- Invitation via Steam, or via the ingame utility
- Reinstalling the game
- Launch with BattleEye and without (both sides)
- Modification of the “Engine.ini” file
- With and without mods
- I specify that all my other network games (local or not) work
- I tried both ethernet and wifi, same observation
- I tried to join online servers, it works, only the coop doesn’t seem to work.
- I also consulted the forums without success after having tested the solutions proposed by the community.
Before that, I never needed to test any of these solutions for it to work.
I don’t know if you can help me. Maybe you can identify the problem.
