I hope you enjoy your time with this game - there is a lot of great content to experience. Don’t feel like you have to rush through the main story, go ahead and try out those other missions in the zones!

If you enjoy an intriguing story, then read everything you find, don’t skip any cutscenes and check your map (“m”) often to find side missions that contain background story. Try to find everything in one area before progressing to a new area and you should be fine.

Welcome to the secret World =). As others have mentioned, if you enjoy a good story, take your time. Everything adds information, talk with NPCs (each topic can be clicked several times for more) read the Legends, look in Windows and enjoy the details hidden All over =). Even watching some mobs will give details about their Lore ;)… Been through Kingsmouth so many times i stopped counting, and I still find new stuff =)

I played TSW back in 2012 and rejoined just a few days ago too having lost my login details for my old account (with purchases too T_T)

Just started playing again in the past couple months. I was an original player of The Secret World. I forgot how much I loved this game playing through it the first time.

New player here as well. I think I tried this when it first came out but my computer couldn’t run it very well. I’ve been trying to find interesting cosmic horror related content and decided to give this another go. It amazing how much creativity and detail goes into the content I have seen so far.
