Crafted weapons

Crafted weapons sorely need a stat boost. Yes they shouldn’t be as powerful as legendary weapons, but they are so weak there is zero point in crafting a weapon when i can just loot a legendary. For example a Star Metal katana with a t4 bladesmith can do 53/64 damage, while musashi’s black blade does 74/89 damage and has a 100% spawn location. There have been a few cool weapons that have come up on the bazaar but sadly they are pointless to buy because ill never use them.

That’s what illusions are for. I use legendaries, but they all look like something else. When they break, I get a “new” weapon.

I completely agree. Crafted weapons could be very close to legendary weapons just without extra stats like most of the legendary have. Especially the rng recipes of Siptah seem pointless right now.

On exile lands not Siptah. And please, although it’s a good example to make a point, the greatest player base is absolutely happy about this spawn and this blade. For this we must thank devs because in the end, something will be ruined on this blade and many people will be disappointed.

Legendary weapons are good as they are.
Crafted weapons more boost please. And equalize feroxic with venom infused by boosting venom infused, not nerf feroxic !

Make one crafted weapon of each family equal to legendary damage. This way people will have reasons to get all the recipes.

One of the best weapons is a crafted weapon. Star metal great axe. One of the most used weapons.

They cost so much more eldarium and are inferior to the (guaranteed acquisition) vault gear.
Very unfortunate.

This one would prefer if the top tier of craftables, when crafted with a named crafter (if applicable), should scrape the bottom of legendary tier.
This one does not wish a return to Legendaries being weaker than gear crafted from feats learned by leveling and with tier 3 smiths.

You know what’s always a kick in the nadz? Opening a Legendary box and getting one of the weapons that’s weaker then a crafted weapon.

People were not using legendary weapons, so let’s make them not use crafted weapons instead.

This rng system can take you from clouds to hellpits sometimes it’s true. Yet… 4 days ago i started a new session sorcery gear only (don’t think i forgot the alchemist suggestion, i am still working on it). Of course to get anything i had to fight without weapons. So i was to the Sepermeru tavern, drinking and chatting with Conan and loosing corruption, you know, the usual start :rofl:. As i exit the tavern i thought how cool would it be to start with Szeth truncheon the game. So i said what the heck, let’s try kicking and punching him to death. Pointless to say that i was lvl 17, i was literally one shot for him.
I took my chances and after a really long fight, really long, i managed to kill him. I open his inventory and the truncheon was there for me like the greatest prize i ever took in this game… Amazing feeling even if it is pure luck!

more a circumstantial thing and subjective too…

there are only 2 legendary 2h axes worth looking at anyway and one of them can’t be found in the Exiled lands.
Pretty much every other crafted 2h axe is equal to the Star Metal Great Axe.
With far more choice on Siptah, all superiour.

Just thing of crafted weapons as skins, not the actual weapon. Use transmog, and it actiallu makes sense. You can craft a basic weapon and ise the look on the legendary problem solved.

And, despite all that, some of the strongest weapons are crafted, not looted.
You might have your legendary this or that, but when you do the correct math, you will find out exploring and getting schematics for weapons you craft will give you a better deal.

You just wont find them on your knowledge panel just sitting there.

Yes. But i am not a streamer, i just play so people can see. I share rp ideas and i get new ones from the chat. Yet i don’t hide the grinding parts of a character progression. You may enter the stream and see me hitting rocks for 20 min :rofl:.

Legendary weapons are far best of crafted weapons

Scythe of thag and Solar axe are the best 2 handed axe
Champion sword and drunked sword are the best one handed sword
Black claws the best claws
Momentum, justice of mitra , ajas bane best maces
Heartblood and set daggers best daggers
Reach of the bloodmother ,hollowed and huntress best bows
Aventure Blade sword of Crow and annihilator best two hand sword

Yes the list of legendary weapons is greater than that, hey, hanumans gada is a freaking beast, isn’t it?
Yet @KorgFoehammer is a mod author and reads the dev kit more often, so i would beg him to tell us if there’s any crafted weapon “greater” than the ones you mentioned, because let’s be honest. I don’t believe any of us here has crafted every single weapon after age 4 drooped.

You still have stuff like Axe of the Savage, and etc …
Unless you are always fighting naked/light armored characters, which in PvE is most likely never happening in late game, crafted weapons are not a problem.
