Creating a server

So I used the app to create a server but I can only locally but I don’t know how to make it so my friends can join that are not local.

I have the server set up on my Laptop and I am able to join the server I created on my PC.

I’m pretty green with this so any help would be greatly appreciated

thats actually the guide I used and Its quite great tbh. I think my issue has to do with my network. I think I need to make my IP public and not Local (if that makes sense)

thanks guys, I figured it out after. I had to make a rule in my firewall to allow inbound traffic to the forwarded ports. I also had to use both TCP and UDP for the ports.
